Low Quality Hotel at Mid Level PricePosted Oct 6, 2014
The reception clerk was extremely nice. They offer nice amenities in the lobby like free breakfast buffet in the morning and a open bar with snacks from 5 to 7 in the evening. However, I had reserved a smoking room. When we got into our room it was extremely nice and clean but it was a non smoking room. When I called the front desk they changed our room quickly. Our new room left much to be desired. The walls were beat up. The tub was full of mold. The refrigerator was a block of ice with something frozen in it. Overall it was a mid level priced hotel with Motel 6 or less quality. Best feature was they were probably the biggest rooms I have ever stayed in.

Not America's "best" anymorePosted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The staff
Location: Very convenient
Our experience began with a warm and welcoming greeting from the night clerk, and breakfast we nice. However, the hotel is really run down. It was difficult to tell whether or not it was clean because there were so many stains on the carpet and scuffs on the walls. Furniture was nice, but the whole place could use new paint and carpeting. It was quiet, and we had a good night's sleep, but I don't think I would stay there again if I had another choice.

hotel is old & in dire need of updatingPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: great location, close to casinos, lake and downtown
Cons: most everything, some of the staff was not friendly, all breakfast was removed 20 mins prior to posted time
Location: Lake Charles, the lake and downtown area and casinos are all nearby
the king size bed was adequate but quite hard, the room is dark, bathroom fixtures, tub and tile are very old and need replaced. Room design, layout, features was out of the 80s

Dirty and Needs Renovation!Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: not much
Location: good location bad hotel not worth $100
The elevator looked dirty like it had a sticky substance on it. Wall paper in the room was peeling and had small holes in the wall. You had to waited over 10 minutes to flush the toilet it would refill fast enough.footprints on the wall was never cleaned.

Owner needs to make some repairsPosted Aug 15, 2014
Arrived to room with no tv working. Went to call front desk phone was broken. Front desk moved us to another room stating they had no maintenance available. Carpet was dirty and room smelled horrible. Owner should clean or change carpets and give hotel an upgrade

Hotel ConditionsPosted Aug 8, 2014
Overall the receptionist was nice. There systems were very slow upon me checking in. The condition of the room was very outdated, furniture was damaged. Couldn't get comfortable while watching TV it was in an awkward place. Suggest that there be some restoration and updating.

Not satisfiedPosted Aug 5, 2014
The carpet was filthy and had crumbs along the baseboards. Paint on the walls and doors were chipped. Water stains on the ceiling. And when I checked in the front desk person was rude. The breakfast was good and my room was nice and cold, that's about the only good thing about this place

Only hotel near the area we were lookingPosted Aug 5, 2014
Didn't clean room within the two days we were there. Had to pick up extra towels at front desk. No sheets or blanket for sofa bed. When we got there on Friday there was a cookie on the floor in the stairway and that same cookie was still there when we left Sunday morning. For the most part it was quiet....

Cons: AIR CONDITIONER DRIP ALL NIGHT
IT WAS JUST AN OVERNIGHT STAY BECAUSE THE CASINO HOTEL WAS BOOK. I WOULD NOT STAY IF I GOT THE ROOM AT THE CASINO.
