“Hated to leave!”

This was a wonderful hotel and we will definetly book it again. The towels were thick and WHITE! The pillows and laundry were fresh and it was a real pleasure crawling into the bed. The bathtub drained perfectly. This is my one complaint of a hotel stay....standing in gross water while taking a shower. UGH!! All hotels need to do is clean out the clogged drain once in a while. Is that too much to ask?!! The staff was extra friendly and made us feel so welcome. This hotel passed my inspection with flying colors!

Area recommendations
Lake Charles is nearby and the casinos are the main attraction.

“"Maid didn't want to clean"”

The lovely hotel's only problem was that our maid didn't want to clean after the first day. The second day she asked if we needed towels and we said,"Yes," but then we had to catch her in the hall later and clarify that we DID want maid service that day. The third day she didn't even bother with towels. We were out all day (the Do not disturb side was NEVER on the door), got back after 10:00 pm and our room was not cleaned and we had to call the front desk for clean towels.
