Very nice facility to plan your stay with.Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Good location, nice staff and comfortable rooms.
Cons: More Handicapped Parking near the front. To get to the rooms near the front there are no parking spaces for the disabled.
Location: It was very easy to get to and from while we were at the Lake.
I own a Fly Shop 250 miles away and was taking some clients to go Redfishing in South Louisiana. The facility was very easy to find and friendly.

Friendly, professional, Clean. Great LocationPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Friendly, professional staff. They accept pets which is awesome if you can't find someone to pet sit at home. A very nice pool Very comfy beds and pillows, nice crisp cotton linens. Clean bathrooms. Nice TVs. Has a microwave and mini fridge which is very handy. Close to all of the sights and casinos. Easy on and off exit. It is by the freeway but so far each visit has been quiet. Check out time is noon which is great for sleeping in.

My husband and I were pleased with our stay there, we had checked other hotels to see if they allowed pets they did but only for $50.00 more. Laquita not only welcomed our furry family member but didn't charge extra for him. The king size bed was very comfortable. The ONLY complaint we found was the fact that we are both coffee drinkers and the coffee pot in the room was a one cup at a time maker. Other than that, we will stay at other Laquita's in the future.

got to make impovements to areaPosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: location was good for us/ we where between Vinton and Lake Charles and had the chance to go in either direction and not drive that far
Cons: the general appearance of the surrounding. the door entrance didn't appear very safe. needed paint, or just replacing. the furniture as dated
Location: many eating place within 10miles, the beach near by, casino in several different direction without driving to far out of the way
the staff was pretty nice. after booking on line we could not use our aarp or aaa discount. was told next time call before coming and than the discounts could be applied.

Old but OKPosted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
They could use some work on the outside of the building. The interior of the room was o.k. but the bathroom needed some major improvement. The toilet seat was in horrible condition.
