We tried to cancel our booking with a refund due to our event being canceled because of a death in their organization. We were denied multiple times and the front desk Manager BJ was extremely obstinate and rude during the entire process. I did not cancel the rooms because we weren't being refunded. I was taken to the hospital Friday after I fainted in a work meeting (diagnosed with an inner ear infection) and could not drive to stay in the room. Though I did not stay on the property, they still took my money so I am entitled to my review of the staff and what I did experience. I can guarantee I will never recommend this hotel to anyone because of the staff.

I am sorry that you were disappointed but per Expedia's cancellation it states plainly, that the Cancellation Policy is as states: "ALL CANCELLATIONS FOR THIS RESERVATION ARE CHARGED THE FULL COST OF STAY." The reason you were able to get a discounted rate for the stay was the rate and the agreement that you made with Expedia which was you would not be able to cancel your reservation without being penalized. The hotel held your room in good faith and my hotel staff followed proper procedure.

Property was ok. Clean for the most part. Staff was a bit rude, The breakfast food was also ok.
