Nice for the Price

Posted Nov 28, 2014
Check in was smooth, there was an error which the desk clerk handled with no hassle and exceptional good humor. The room was Spartan, but clean, the bed was comfortable and the climate control was loud, but no more than most of this type. The property is near the interstate and a railroad track and while we could hear some road noise it was was not loud enough to interfere with sleep. All in all, if you are looking for a basic overnight room this is a good bargain.

Nice hotel close to Norris lake.

Easy to find. Friendly staff. Clean room. Quiet inside room even though some people were partying on the second floor.

Check in process was long as it was evident new staff was being trained. However, when there are four people waiting fto check in I would think the seasoned staff should have taken over to speed up the process. Room was adequate but the door did not seem to be very secure.

Not So Great Hotel

Posted Feb 9, 2013
The heater in the room was either to hot to cold. I coulldnt get adjusted correctly. I could hear traffic on the highway rumbling and banging as it went by all night long. It sounded like someone slamming doors. The toilet was leaning sideways. The outside door didn't close tightly. Cold air was blowing in around it.

Good night's sleep

Good value for a reasonably priced bed. Why pay more when the Days Inn provides everything you need for an overnight stay???

No Frills, But Clean and Comfortable

Posted Mar 21, 2012
This is a "no frills" hotel. However, it suited our needs perfectly as it was clean, comfortable, and situated between different areas that we needed to be in. There is a Cracker Barrel Old Country Buffet, literally, next door; as well as several fast food and convenience stores. There were even grocery stores within a short drive. I would recommend this clean location, as it was perfect for our purposes.

Keep on driving - do not stay here.

Posted Dec 8, 2011
Hard to sleep as you hear EVERY TRUCK traveling on the freeway 50 yards from the room!! Bed is hard, there were hairs in the bathtub, spit spray on the bath mirror, mildew on the bathroom floor!!! Only good thing I can say is that the sheets smelled of clorine bleach.

We'd stop here again

Posted Oct 11, 2011
The staff was very friendly and we were pleased with our room. The only problem we had was that the coffeemaker in our room did not work. This wasn't too much of a problem though, because there was plenty of hot coffe available at the breakfast bar.
