Wrong hotelPosted Jun 17, 2014
This was not the hotel I thought I was booking- my mistake. Holiday Inn was a very nice hotel, very clean, nice staff. Be sure and READ the info on the hotel- breakfast was not FREE as it is made to sound. It is, however, cooked to order and rather expensive, I thought, and also not that great. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for breakfast.

Very Nice Hotel.Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Rooms, Staff
Location: The hotel is located very near Interstate 75. There is a good choice of places to eat very nearby. Ruby Tuesday is located on the same property
This is a very nice hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient .

Very nice hotelPosted May 5, 2014
Pros: Also liked that there was plenty of parking and close proximity of restaurants.
Cons: Simpler alarm clock. Better wi-fi instructions.
Location: Very close to interstate. Easy on and off. Lots of restaurants and businesses nearby.
The room was clean, spacious, nicely furnished, great television, comfortable bed and couch. Only problem was trying to figure out how to set the alarm and kept getting busy signal when dialing the "wake up" service. Also, could never get the wi-fi to work on my I-pad.

As comfortable as home!Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: We are pleased with everything about our stay.
Cons: The only issue we did have was trying to access wireless internet. We do understand it could have been our device.
Location: We were extremely pleased with all the options close by.
We were coming to stay for our sons graduation from college. The reception staff was very helpful with a small request of a king size bed vs. two doubles. The lobby is clean and very welcoming. The room was just as inviting. It certainly made a stressful time much easier. A comfortable bed, a clean and pleasing environment made our weekend that much better.

Renovation needed to include plumbing...Posted Apr 6, 2014
This Holiday Inn looked great! Unfortunately, the shower plumbing leaked, causing wet carpet between the wall and the bed, and a bad mildew odor in the room. At first I thought it was cat pee. It was that strong in the closet, which backed up to the shower. This had been masked with strong floral pair-freshener, which actually made things worse. I think this non-smoking room had been smoked in, as well, which did not help. Although the property looked pretty, the room was stinky.

close to interatatePosted Apr 4, 2014
Cons: Everything in our room.
Air conditioning is very old and really hard to read. The settings were so low to read and next to ta bed. Hard to read. The smell in the room was horrible. The cover at the foot of the bed had a terrible odor, with the air conditioning blowing on it made the room smell. Walking into the room the first time it didn't it didn't have a fresh smell. Had no HOT water for Clerk our shower the next morning. Clerk gave us a another key to use another room to take our shower. Expecting us to take all of our stuff to another room. Unacceptable. Glad to check OUT. Room needs to be updated.

One night stopoverPosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Decent hotel. Clean, but nothing special.
Cons: Overpriced. $130 and no breakfast and bad connectivity. Wifi quality was poor to non-existent.
Location: Lot's of restaurants.
This was a stopping point on our way to Disney. While convenient to I-75, I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you got or considering what you do not get. Best experience was the staff at the adjacent Ruby Tuesday. Dragged in at about 10 pm and figured they would exhibit the usual end of shift surliness, but were surprisingly friendly and generous.

Very DisappointedPosted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Located near Chick-fil-a.
Location: Eat at Chick-fil-a
Hallway and room entrance had bad smell. Soap left in shower for previous guest I assume. Shower drain clogged. A/C didn't cool room but helped with smell.

Nice hotel, great central location in Lake CityPosted Mar 29, 2014
The hotel was nice, safe and the staff were friendly and helpful. The fitness facility was decent and when I was exercising a staff member came in and saw the towels were out and immediately went and got some and handed me one. The room itself was nice and comfortable. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner- the tile and grout areas by the tub appeared dirty.
