“A great-value base for exploration”

The owners of this hotel were very keen to help and knowledgeable of the local area. They very kindly picked us up from the bus stop on our day of arrival, and dropped us off on the day of departure The apartment is of a good quality and clean. It's a little out of the main town, but the walk into town is very pleasant and the views fantastic, so as long as you're happy with a 20 minute walk then the location is not an issue The town as a whole feels very safe and peaceful. Also, for good measure, the apartment feels very secure, as all of the doors and windows are protected with secondary lockable shutters. There is also a very handy Supermarket 2 minutes walk away for any essentials The apartment is 5-10 minutes walk away from one of the best Restaurants in town, situated on the Lake Side, and serving great quality local fish

“Excellent hotel for a reasonable price!”

The lower price of this hotel (relative to others in Bellagio) made it possible for us to stay right in this beautiful city. The walk to central Bellagio was about 20 minutes, as was the walk to the free swimming beach. It is less than 15 minutes from several bus stops. All the areas we walked in were beautiful and felt very safe. The accomodations were lovely and the owners very friendly and helpful during our stay. Our time in Bellagio was amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel!

“Home from home”

We had a lovely stay here, Amelia (the owner) lives upstairs and was very welcoming and friendly. It's worth calling ahead if you are going there without a car, as they often pick people up from the ferry/bus to save them walking out with bags. Without luggage it is a short (20 minutes) walk into Bellagio, but it is not unpleasant. There is a short section near the apartment without pavement, which is not great but we didn't think it was that much of a problem. Overall the apartment was lovely- the kitchen was in good order and everything was clean and tidy. The road outside does cause a bit of noise in the day if you have the living room windows open, but the bedroom is pretty quiet and we certainly didn't lose any sleep due to cars. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed stay in (or perhaps I should say "near") Bellagio- it was much cheaper than staying in the centre, and we really appreciated escaping the busy, tourist-filled town centre. There's also beaches, gardens and restaurants in nearby hamlets (10-15 minutes away) which we much preferred to the town centre as they were quieter and not so touristy!
