Lake ComoPosted Nov 14, 2014
Very nice hotel right on Lake Como and the main square. Easy walk to get to restaurants and nightlife. Hotel is good with nice charm. Bedrooms are tight but well appointed for Europe. Would stay here again.

Nice, but Window Opened to Smelly, Noisy AreaPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice complimentary breakfast...
Cons: The AC did not cool the room adequately on very warm days. Not enough toilet paper. Window opened to noisy alley with smelly garbage piled up...
We stayed 7 nights at this hotel for a second time. Will do it again! The location is excellent, the staff is first rate... My only complaint is that our room opened up into a back alley that was noisy and had fouled smelling garbage piled up everyday...

Lovely Hotel, next to the lake.Posted May 16, 2014
Pros: The bathroom was large and clean with a walk in shower and whirlpool bath. The bedroom was also very clean with a four poster bed and side lake view.
Cons: Bathrobes were supplied, but no slippers. A very minor observation considering the plus points. Tea and coffee in the room would have been nice.
Location: There are a number of cafe's and restaurants next to the Hotel. Buses and boats are available to take you to towns and villages further up the lake.
We had a lovely, newly refurbished room, with a side view of the lake and overlooking the town square and cafe's. A great location within sight of buses and boats with which to explore the lake and local area. The Hotel is traditional, but the room we had was sympathetically renovated and large. The staff were all friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. They also spoke perfect English, so there won't be a problem for anyone who doesn't speak Italian. Prior to our arrival the Hotel arranged a car and driver to meet us at Milan airport and take us back at the end of our stay, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Its worth contacting the Hotel and talking to them about your requirements.

Pleasant hotel very central.Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: The location and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Putting the air conditioning on when the outside temperature reaches 23 o plus.
Location: Location close to boats with many trips to choose from. Also close to Duomo and shops.
Manager refused to put air conditioning on , room was far to hot , opening the window allowed mosquitoes in causing a major problem in addition to the traffic noise. The breakfast room too small causing a queue and a long wait for breakfast when hotel busy.

Peg's reviewPosted Apr 23, 2014
Cons: We were there on Easter Sunday and I was quite surprised that there was nothing special in terms of décor or the breakfast.
Location: Take the funicular then walk around lovely Brunate. View is stunning. Don't miss lunch at the "to die for" restaurant called Cacciatore. LTD menu=OMG
A delightful experience. Although our 3 familys were not booked next to each other, the family with a small baby stayed in suite 500 which is an elegant tower room with outstanding views of the lake and the funicular. It had a walkway to a private patio. It was so lovely we all spent time up there!

Excellent Como hotel close to everythingPosted Apr 8, 2014
3 nights at the Albergo Terminus could not have gone better. Good hotel on the edge of the lake and a perfect position for the town (beautiful), restaurants, bars and train station. Staff were very helpful, especially reception and breakfast staff, and gave us the best room available - overlooking the lake. Rooms not huge, but comfortable., some road noise if you need to leave windows open. Free wifi of a good standard wherever I tried. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night, the best meal of our stay and similar prices to restaurants outside (not cheap!) Took trips up the funicular (300 metres from hotel) and took the fast ferry to Bellagio - stunning place. Will use the Albergo Terminus again with no hesitation

Spectacular Weekend In Como - Wonderful HotelPosted Mar 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is wonderfully located right across the street from Lake Como and about 30 yards from the main piazza on the lake front. It's a short walk to everything, offering convenient parking, free use of their bicycles to get around the city and a very friendly and helpful staff. I couldn't recommend Albergo Terminus any more highly. My wife and I had a romantic weekend in Como and got a great value in a perfect location.

The best choice for downtown ComoPosted Nov 25, 2013
We had a very nice stay at this beautiful, historic hotel but our room had only partial view to the beautiful lake of Como.
