“Excelent view to the lake”

Everything O.K. just be carefull with breakfast schedule, they have a hot breakfast first and a cold brekfast after, apparently in this hotel if they tell you that breakfast time is from 7 to 10 a.m. it really means that it is from 7 to 9:30 because if you arrive to the restaurant after 9:30 you'll find the waiters taking all the food back to the kitchen and your little surprise of no food at 9:45 a.m. will lead to an incredible feeling of impotence. By hot breakfast I mean probably eggs, bacon, sausage and by cold breakfast I mean bread, cheese, jam slices, fruit and cereal.

“Old hotel full of old people”

DON'T STAY THERE!!!It's almost IMPOSIBLE to find a spot in the small pool or to find a chair. There's old (70)people EVERYWEAR all the time!(they looked as part of the hotel furniture!) Every day we were kicked out of the restaurant at 10 am, they don't care if you couldn't finish your breakfast. We paid for a room with balcony that we couldn't get because the hotel had a problem the night before we arrived (a storm!). They didn't want to help us with our bags and you have stairs to get to de lobby. It looked like it was a nice hotel 20 years ago. Now the only good thing that this hotel have is the view.

“A poor choice unless you want to pay less and get even less”

A stuffy mediocre hotel with a lovely location. The staff was curt and not cooperative. The food was dreadful. If you want a good meal you must take the ferry across to Bellagio at a cost of 9 to 11 euros for some really good eating. The room was large and had a nice view of the lake and Bellagio across the water. Only the room facing front are latrge. We were told by some dissatisfied Brits that the rear rooms are very small. No A/C, so the window had to remain open and a modest fan going at all times. Given the fact the almost all guests except us were either British or German, the I was shocked that the bsr didn't know what a martini was, and the bartender pointed to the meager choice of bottles behind the bar said "what you see is what you get"...a literal and not very friendly quote. We befriended a british couple from Manchester who booked a week at this place with all meals inclusive, and they felt like prisoners, since there are no other restaurants close by. Fortunately, we had a rental car and could escape at our leisure. We do not recommend this seedy hotel whose questionable past glories are well behind it.
