“Belagio Jewel”

This is an older hotel that has recently updated its rooms (at least our room was much better than the Frommer's Guide led us to believe). The front desk was consistently helpful and knowledgeable. We had a fabulous view of the mountains. The room was small (but not by European standards) but comfortable for 3 people. This hotel is definitely a keeper.

“Great deal on Lake Como”

This hotel is one of the best deals in Bellagio. It's centrally located, facing the lake, and all rooms have a gorgeous lake view.

Great location. Above average European breakfast. The beds are very firm as they are in many Euro hotels. Nice and helpful staff. Ask for room with a balcony if available. Better value than I thought it might be.

“great views”

A simple hotel and quite expensive but with outstanding views from lake facing rooms. Everything in bellagio was within a 2 min walk so location wise it is ideal but then again that goes for most hotels in bellagio. Bellagio and Varenna are both beautiful. There could be better value for money hotels in Varenna and it's 10 mins on the boat away.

“waterfront hotel”

lovely hotel, friendly staff. bit noisy due to being next to ferry terminal, but lovely altogether.

“Ideal location to explore Lake Como”

Very nice oldy worldy hotel in an excellent position right on the lake. Hotel staff were very helpful. Only problem was the lack of parking. There were a few free spaces opposite the hotel but they were never empty. The other options are to feed parking meters for short term parking or use the long term car park about 500 meters from the hotel.

“Wonderful Wedding”

We drove to hotel in a hire car arranged by expedia down narrow winding roads.Magnificent scenery. Arrived at hotel, very welcoming, we had one of 3 balcony rooms overlooking the lake on 1st floor, just what we had asked for. Very clean. Limited parking.Would definitly use hotel again. May try a couple of floors up to get the uninterupted lake view. Thank you expedia, a bit nervous as first time doing all on line but all went smoothly.

“A favourite location”

We have stayed in this hotel 4 times now. We love Bellagio and the hotel is very good value, located as it is in front of the lake and in Bellagio's quaint old town. We find the area so relaxing for a short break. The hotel has a quaint charm to it and the older style rooms are just part of that. The only thing is it is important to book a room that is facing the lake and not too high up in the hotel so you can enjoy the high ceilings and breezy size of the rooms. We stayed in one on the higher floors facing away from the lake for one night once and we really didn't find it very 'charming' at all. As long as we book in time to guarantee a front facing room we'll be back!

“Great Location”

This hotel is right on the water - about 30 yards from the bus stop and the ferry stop. It was beautiful - a typical old European hotel, kind of old fashioned but clean and the people who worked there were great - got us a car to Milan that we needed the next day at 5 am, recomended "local" family restaurants, internet cafes, etc. Would stay there again.

“Beautiful Location”

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at Easter. The location is perfect opposite the lake and the ferry stop. The room was huge and comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave us maps and directions when asked. The breakfast was average and on Easter Sunday the bread was not fresh. It took the staff a while to replenish the buffet. Overall I would go back to this hotel due to its location.
