It was up a hill a ways and a little hard to find. They had to turn on the heat for me. It wasn't very strong. Old radiator. Tv was tiny. Curtain would have been ineffective. They had storm shutters. That helped. Lots of road noise. Some guests left at 5 am. A little noisy. They wouldn't let you bring in outside food. The one chef was a little overwhelmed by the eight road workers staying there. I ended up skipping dinner. They didn't know I was coming. Didn't check their email. It was worked out.

A pleasant stay, nice staff, and clean room. However, the room lacks a bit of comfort - the mattress was pretty hard, and the room pretty simple. However, it was also a pretty cheap option compared to other available rooms.

Nice location with lovely views over Lake Como.
We have stayed here before so we thought that we knew what we were getting. I think in over the previous two years the ownership has changed. The hotel is in a lovely location with great views. However, the room was not the most comfortable, the bed being old and the furniture close to collapse. The bathroom was dated and the shower was a trickle of water. There is no air conditioning and the windows need replacing. The food is good if you're having dinner, although a little overpriced, but the breakfast is not worth the €5 charged. The use of the pool is an extra cost, which wasn't pointed out at check in. I discovered it at checkout.The staff are friendly and helpful in general. There is adequate parking which was a necessity for us.

Great budget stay, but keep your expectations down
Great location and owners are very nice and helpful, hotel seems to be renovated in the common areas, but the rooms (at least ours) was extremely small, dated and somewhat dirty (stains of bugs killed on the walls), bed was very uncomfortable.The hotel is also right on the road which makes it quite noisy.

Excellent quality for this price point
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Great views, very nice pool and sand volley ball court. Delicious pizzas baked in wood burning oven. The location is just above Bellagio on the mountain so you overlook Lake Como and the city from the balconies and terrace.

Terible stay very poor location. Flora was friendly and collected us from bellagio as this hotel is 7k from the town. Breakfast was very poor. Wouldnt recommend this hotel.

Extremely uncomfortable beds, small room, hot & humid (not even a fan) & noisy road. We didn't sleep at all as the pool is open 24 hrs & there were teenagers outside our window partying all night! I regret choosing the place as my family keeps reminding me!

Amazing views but lacks attention to details
The best part of this hotel was the amazing views. The room was small, no air conditioning or even a fan. The place could be a jewel if someone with good taste and a bit more of understanding of comfort ... Staff was pleasant but I had to ask the same thing over and over again ... they seemed stressed .. did not match with location.

Nice hotel, ecellent lunch and diners.
Nice place with a beautiful view of lake Como from the hillside. Reasonably priced. Rooms were small but sufficient. Easy trip to Belliagio. Staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent lunch and dinners.

Great hotel great view great people
It was an amazing experience! The owners are such a nice Italian family! Great value for money! Rooms have very beautiful view to Lake Como, food was very tasty, and the prices are affordable, we stayed at the end of March and it was very warm. I can imagine during the summer, would love to go again. They have pool area with a bar outside plus a lovely terrace. Definetely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Lake Como.

First, the hotel is on top of a hill and you get great views from the balconies. The room and bathroom are nice, though kinda small Second, I can't stress enough how friendly and helpful the staff were. And finally, we went over the winter, when the room is not that warm and the halls are cold. I imagine over the summer the place is pretty perfect.

Hotel Mirabeau high above Lake Como
Our stay was at a particularly quiet time of year for the Lake Como area. The room had a lake side balcony from which the views were fantastic. We had a little problem finding the hotel, but this probably was due to the long drive that we had made from France, however if you do book here, the hotel is about 3 km before the little town of Civenna, at the top of a road that switches back and forth down the hill to the town. The hotel signage is not that easy to notice! The food is cooked to order by the owner / chef in a wood oven and is very good. During our stay the WiFi was not reliable. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely location overlooking lake como from a height. Scrupulously clean. Dated hotel, very basic breakfast for 5 euro. Car essential in order to enjoy fantastic Bellagio a few km away. On steep road with hairpin bends, a favourite with motorcyclists, husband had to buy earplugs to allow sleep due to this noise.

We stayed at the hotel while visiting Bellagio and Lenno. The hotel is about 15 minutes up hill from Bellagio -- outside of the town of Civenna. We arrived late the first night and the hotel kitchen is about the only option for food around. We had fabulous meals with homemade pasta. Food was so good, we ate there the second night as well (in addition, the hotel is up a very windy narrow road with several switch backs, which we did not want to drive up in the dark or after a glass of wine). The hotel was clean but old. it is family run - the chef was the one who checked us in. The only we complaint we had was with the sliding bathroom door, which was not sound proof in the least.

Wish could stay longer
Superb location overlooking the lake and mountains. Really nice pool and bar area in a garden setting. Staff were super friendly and reserved us a table on the terrace with view for dinner. Room was cozy, but attention to detail is top notch. Wish could have stayed longer.

Incredibly accommodating staff
I stayed here over a weekend in transition from a professional meeting in Bellagio and other EU travel. I wanted to stay someplace that allowed me to enjoy the cycling in the area. Aside from being a couple of hundred meters from the top of the passo Ghisallo, (meaning that I got to experience that climb many times) it was everything and more than I expected. Simple, clean hotel--extraordinary staff.

The view is not everything
The view is great if your room has a view. Our room didn't have a view over the lake but just of the road. It was very noisy in the morning! The hotel is sold on the view but has forgotten about current hotel standards - it is lost in the 1970's. The rooms are very basic and poor. The room sizes are small and cramped. The toilet is basic with a plastic bidet that is not plumbed in to the mains. The TV was miniature fixed close to the ceiling which even if it did work you couldn't watch. No wifi. Nobody spoke english. The pizzas only cost €5 but you pay €4 for coperto (table setting). We will never come back to this hotel !

Nicest hotel staff you'll ever meet
The room is well maintained (though the decor is somewhat dated), the views overlooking Lake Como are stunning, and, as mentioned by others, the family running the hotel are the nicest owners you will ever meet. The lady especially went out of her way to make us comfortable, including personally delivering a pizza up to our room from the restaurant. It is easy to find, but you'll need a car rather than public transportation. The hotel sits on a hill quite high above Lake Como (don't think you can walk to the water's edge). We were awakened by cars gearing down to climb the switchbacks on the road directly below the hotel, but the view from that high is spectacular and worth it. It is also only a short drive to Bellagio and other neighboring attractions. If returning to Italy's lake district, I would immediately stay here again.

Wow, what a view
I would stay at this hotel if for only the spectacular view of Lake Como 1000 feet below. But the hotel offers much more. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food, including the pizza oven located in the corner of the restaurant. The room that we stayed in was a little dated. But, frankly, that added to the charm. Love the place.

We stayed in the Mirabeau and was impressed with the views of Lake Como from the balcony of our hotel. The hotel is situated within a short drive of local amenities. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They were always more than happy to help as much as possible.

We went to see the Tour of Lombardy Cycle race and this hotel is an ideal loaction. Hotel is on route 1.5km from top of climb to Madonna De Ghisallo, which is approx 45km from end of race. Many people gather here to view race and go back to hotel to watch the end. Hotel good value and staff friendly. I would go back.

Outstanding view and delicious/cheap food!
Sure we had to take a ferry to get here, but the view was worth it! (Ferry is not required, our GPS happened to take us that way...). This hotel had a very nice pool and game area. The restaurant that was attached had very reasonable prices (Euro 6 for a pizza) and the staff was so helpful. They even got me a whole container of ice when I asked for ice water. I highly recommend this hotel!

Pas de chauffage dans l établissement, ni dans la chambre ni dans la salle de bain. Noys Nous avons dirmi en pull et en chaussette. Petit Petit-déjeuner cher et rassis. Il fallait laisser couler l eau très très longtemps pour avoir de l eau chaude. Tour est extrêmement archaïque. Un retour dans le passé des années 70. On déconseile. Cher pour les prestations.

Hotel situato a 20 minuti dal paese di Bellagio in zona collinare dal quale è possibile ammirare un fantastico panorama. La struttura è un po' datata con stanze molto piccole. E' l'unica nota negativa.

La vue splendidest le principal souvenir du séjour
Très belle vue. Difficile à trouver sans indication préalable. L'annonce n'indique pas la distance du centre de Bellagio. Assistance précieuse d'un agent de l'hôtel pour expliquer en français le fonctionnement du GPS de notre voiture Conseils judicieux pour recommanderr le car public et non la voiture.

Hôtel dont la réalité n’est pas décrite ....
Si vous aimez ne pas dormir à cause de la musique, du bruit des voitures et de l’ambiance Cascade a chaque passage aux toilettes alors cet hôtel est fait pour vous ... sinon pour les autres, cherchez une autre adresse et les 7km entre Bellagio et cet hôtel sont fait en 15min en Voiture ... et oui l’hotel Est en hauteur et en bord de route ce qui vous place au 1ère loge des rallyes des locaux et/ ou touristes en recherche de sensations motorisées .... Et pour ceux qui imaginent bénéficier du wifi, elle ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres !!!

Le gérant Flavio très sympathique, parle français et test rès réactif aux demandes du client. La cuisine excellente, cependant la chambre bien qu'étant très correcte possède une salle de bain vétuste avec des évacuations très difficiles, un rideau de douche usagé, et une petite TV d'un autre âge ! L'hôtel est assez éloigné de Bellagio.

הגענו למלון בשעות אחר הצהריים ונדמה היה לנו שאנו השוהים היחידים. למרות היחס האדיב של בעל המקום שדיבר אנגלית, המקום לא מאוד יפה, די ישן ומסתורי. החדרים סבירים (שדרגנו את החדר ב-10 יורו כי רצינו נוף לאגם, שיעודד אותנו אחרי נסיעה מתישה). בסה"כ חווינו באיטליה מלונות אף זולים יותר שהעניקו חוויה טובה יותר. לא נשארנו לארוחת הבוקר, לא אהבנו את האווירה. כן חשוב להגיד שבעל המקום מאוד השתדל להסביר כיצד להגיע למרכז בלג'יו, והזמין אותנו לפאב שלו ולהישאר לארוחת בוקר... מומלץ למי שמחפש לינה זולה ולא מפחד מנסיעות מאתגרות (נסיעה של כ-15-20 דק' למרכז בלג'יו, והנסיעה מפותלת מאוד).
