“Brilliant Hotel”

Fantastic Hotel. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with excellent toiletries (The soap was especially good). The staff was fantastic and very helpful. To top it off the hotel restaurant was brilliant. Great selection and incredibly tasty food with a good wine list.

“Great Hotel, good one nigt stopover.”

Before going to Lecco we believed the hotel was right on Lake Como with lots of countryside views and walks. But its actually in the town itself. However the hotel was very clean and comfortable, lots of extras in the room and good food in resturaunt. Very freindly staff, breakfast excellent.

“Lovely place to stay”

We booked in from the description online, and from other peoples reviews, and found the hotel to be excellent in every respect. It was very busy, and breakfast was a bit of a bun fight, but there was enough for everyone, and good quality, although there was not a lot of choice for hot food. I thought the location was a shame, as Lecco isn't very big, and not much to do there, but a good base for the lakes and Switzerland

Staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Hotel was very clean and the service provided was excellent.The breakfasts provided were more than adequate, with plenty of choice.

“The Italian Job”

We enjoyed our weeks stay at this high class hotel. We toured the surrounding areas and were always glad to come 'home' to the Pontevecchio in the evening. An ideal location in a popular lakeside town.

“Fabulous”

Fab hotel all round. Staff very helpful and friendly and situated in a quiet and excellent location on the Lake. Short walk to the main centre of Lecco. Room very spacious and excellently furnished. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wishing a more relaxing break.

“Beautiful location”

Having read previous reviews we were prepared to find the hotel in an industrial area - this was NOT the case at all. You can walk/dine beside the water and it is very picturesque. The ferrys were not as regular over the weekend, but the train service was excellent. The hotel was extremely good value for money, although the meals were quite pricey.
