A Very Friendly Hotel
Posted Jan 8, 2012
Pros: Chocolate Chip Cookie
Cons: Getting out of hotel to go north. Must go south then make a U turn to go north. Okay after we figured it out.
Location: Like the location on the south side of Somerset to get to 90 to go west to Albany. Burnside had a variety of restaurants.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights; we were in the area for a family reunion. Would like to have had scrambled eggs to go with the gravy and biscuits instead of boiled eggs. Breakfast overall very good. Nice fresh linens and towels in room when we returned from our daily outing. Staff very helpful. Just ask for help and you got it. My husband like the chocolate chip cookies that were offered at the front desk. A table contained flyers and information about the area and suggestions for places to eat.

The hotel was very nice and clean. I was not to thrilled with the breakfast. The sausage was horrible and how do you have sausage and biscuits and no eggs, at least scrambled eggs. The person that worked there turned on gospel, I don't think that is good for everyone. She should have put it on a more versatile station for the many different people that stay there. Other than that the hotel was great.

Nice room and hotel, decent surrounding neighborhood. Not much to do in Sumerset - also a DRY COUNTY - no alcohol. Not a negative on the hotel, just an FYI

Stayed one night on a business trip. Customary amenities for this level of hotel. Quiet, well maintained.
