Good hotel for the pricePosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: Location was handy, rooms were relatively comfortable.
Cons: Air-conditioning (room was hot and stuffy) and car parking was at a premium anything bigger than a Fiat Punto is hard to park.
Location: It's about a 2.5km walk into the main town, which has some nice old sites. Great markets on the Sunday (Rivotella) and Tuesday (Desanzano).
The hotel was handy for our needs. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable. You may wish to consider your needs and preferences before you book. The pool is only open May - September, which is unfortunate.

Nice and quiet, Good Location, Trrible WiFi !!!Posted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: the place is peaceful and well treated like in the picturs. the morning breakfast was basic and OK. nice jacuzzi onthe roof. clean. staff: Mirko No 1!
Cons: WiFi - TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! dont count on the wireless connection, I tryed all the area's but the connection was outrageous. the staff ignored me!!
Location: Location is greate cause it is very quiet and calm, fust in front of the lake. more over it is few minuts from A4 autostrada and Sirmione.
My wife and I came here to cellebrate her 30's. The location was perfect for our star traveling which included the Garda lake and the serrounding, venice, verona and innsbruck in Austria (2.45 Hr by car). The hotel and flights were invited long time before tיrough Expedia - very easy and convenient. The car was taken separately cause we wanted somthing special that they could not offer us.

Friendly hotelPosted Oct 3, 2013
Not quite as the photos but very nice. You can't see lake garda from the roof unless you stand on tip toes as the plants all overgrown. Sun terraces smaller than they appear on photo and pool freezing cold. However, staff friendly and very helpful and lake easily got to by lane immediately opposite hotel. Our bed was very hard but others may prefer it that way. Good position if you are driving but if on foot you need a bus or taxi to get to main areas of interest.

5 minutes walk from the lakePosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Staff were helpful - they arranged an airport transfer for us by email due to late check in & let us print boarding passes free of charge.
Location: 5 minutes walk from the "less touristy" end of Lake Garda, which suited us perfectly. Great fish restaurant in Rivoltella - La Taverna del Lago.
This hotel was perfect for us - not too far from town but plenty nearby - a good base for exploring the area and further afield such as Milan or Verona. Jacuzzi and sun terrace were great, breakfast what you would expect - ie continental with a slow coffee machine (which really isn't that important). I left some lost property behind which was posted to my home within a week of our return.

Ideal hotel for Lake Garda and surroundPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Pleasant relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Internet access needs improving.
Although slightly outside the centre of Desenzano, about a mile, this is an ideal location for touring the South of the lake and with the nearby express railway both Milan and Venice ( 1 1/2 hours) are within easy distance for day trips. The North of the Lake, Riva Del Garda is about a two hour bus ride away or by fast boat approximately three hours. The hotel is spotlessly clean with very attentive and friendly staff - reception, catering and cleaning. It's a pleasure to come to a place that puts service first. There is a limited evening menu, that changes daily. If that is not to your taste, there are several restaurants within a five minute walk. The Lake itself is visible from the balconies over adjoining property and is less than a five minute walk. There is a roof top sunbathing/seating area and a pleasant covered pool (1.20m deep) which is open on two sides. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely make a return trip.

A great place to stayPosted Sep 8, 2013
Pros: Facilities, location, helpful staff
Enjoyed jacuzzi, free bikes, buffet breakfast, Prosecco on tap and pool (although if it had been uncovered it would have been even nicer)

A wonderful few days awayPosted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: Free bikes, helpful staff, lovely food
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!
Location: The town of Desenzano is only 10 minutes away. Close to a local supermarket. Beautiful beaches right on the doorstep of the hotel.
Just returned from a 4 day stay in this lovely hotel with my husband. Extremely helpful staff, happy to help with all of our needs. Lovely food in the evenings with a good choice and plenty of it. I loved how it was pretty quiet considering it was August which made it really relaxing. Particularly liked the fact that you could take the bikes out that belonged to the hotel for free, this meant that as we didn't have a car and we love cycling we were able to explore a lot further than we thought we would. If you can take a trip to Sermione, it's so worth it, lovely day out there. The town of Desenzano was only 10 minutes on the bike and beautiful both in the day and night. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing break with beautiful scenery.

Quiet at night but hard beds kept us awake!Posted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: The stylish bathroom and quiet at night.
Cons: Comfortable beds would be a great improvement. Pool heating.
Location: Between towns but everything accessible by car. Swim in the lake opposite. Visit the towns in the evening for dinner and delicious ice cream.
Booked late but seemed best available choice. On the road between Sirmione and Deszensano with free parking. Car best if staying here as a good walk or bus ride to the towns to get a ferry. Easy access to lake across the road for a swim, small beach cafe. It was very quiet at night but the beds were so hard we had backache, which we never usually suffer from. Did ask if anything could be done but just told to put blankets under the sheet. If the standard of the bedroom was as good as the bathroom it would have been excellent; lovely shower and nicely decorated. Well cleaned but ants were coming in under the skirting board, even though we were on the 3rd floor. The decor is dated with no drawer space. Jacuzzi was nice, as was the pool area, although under cover so very cold; handy for a rainy day. Although the breakfast was adequate there was nothing to cater to British tastes. Cereal was as hard as uncooked rice and the wait for the only drinks machine could be long, but the yogurt, croissants and fruit were nice. Did not like the fact that several residents brought their dogs into the dining room and even sat them on a chair up to the table feeding them!! The decor is quite old fashioned but the staff usually pleasant and helpful. Had a good flight with Flybe from Southampton to Verona and Lake Garda very pretty and relaxed, even though traffic in August horrendous. If looking for the A4 back to Verona Airport, follow signs for Venezia, but leave plenty of time!

Quiet LocationPosted Aug 19, 2013
Location: Buses into Denzenzano only 1 per hour and long 30 minute walk in heat and bus times were never convenient for ferry times.
Hotel staff friendly but with limited English. Hotel very clean and quiet out of town location with easy walk to beach. 30 minute walk to Denzenzano with buses only 1 per hour.
