Lovely StaffPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: The Staff and the rooms
Cons: Free wifi
Location: Quite a long walk to the Town and Lake Garda. Not much to do near by you have to go into the Town where there is plenty to do.
We had 2 rooms one for us and one for our children and both rooms had a balcony with lovely views of Lake Garda. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty to choose from. There was a bar area although it was small it had everything we needed and again the staff were lovely. The swimming pool was small but it was big enough for what we needed and the views were outstanding. The only downside was it was quite a walk to the lake at least half an hour so most of the time we had to get a cab because it was to hot to walk that far all in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone but be prepared for a long walk to the town and lake.

Not for the poshPosted Jul 6, 2013
Ha ha the furniture was not very modern but we didn't have to be overly careful with it; the atmosphere was very friendly, especially Jamal the night porter. Not a hotel for the posh. Breakfast was okay except the coffee which was horrid. The pool was small but clean and the views were amazing. 2 mins walk from the hotel is a very spectacularly beautiful walk for the fit. Garda is a 20 min walk downhill or short drive.

Standard yet nice place to visit Lake Garda!Posted Sep 7, 2010
The hotel is perfectly clean and rooms of an adequate size. The staff seemed perfectly polite and happy. As it states it is only a 3 star hotel this is what you get. Breakfast was fine and good that it is buffet style. The pool area is great, with a nice little bar and fridge and freezer stocked with cold drinks and magnums! You get a great view from the pool and sun loungers and is a very relaxing place. If you dont like walking late at night then the hotel isn't for you as the free shuttle bus going near it stops at 7:30pm, but if u dont mind walking, the hotel is 1.24 miles up hill from garda. Overall a good budget stay and i would recommend this hotel

Excellent LocationPosted Sep 8, 2009 on Hotels.com
Excellent location. Very satisfied. Shower is just a hole in the floor which when wet could cause an accident as water went everywhere.

Superb viewsPosted Aug 20, 2008
Excellent views of Lake Garda from pool and room. Close to Garda, but far enough out to be away from the bustle. Air conditioning broken in room (+32C outside!) and no interest from hotel staff in fixing it. Be prepared for an early (0800) wake-up from housekeeping who don't take no for an answer, even ignoring a "please do not disturb" sign I hand wrote in Italian, there being none available in the room. Usual continental plumbing!

OKPosted Jul 29, 2007
The hotel was clean but had a slightly strange layout with the breakfast room in a separate room over a small bridge. The pool was a nice feature and most guests(though not us!) had a balcony. We got some great service and information from one of the receptionists who was extremely helpful. However the air con was only on from 5pm to midnight and it was extremely difficult to sleep in the heat!

Not as advertised on ExpediaPosted Jun 26, 2007
First, there is no air conditioning. It was very hot during the day and pretty warm at night. There was no window to leave open so if you left the patio door open, outsiders from the room next door were just a few feet away because their patio door was right there also, just steps away with no barrier. Not comfortable sleeping or security. Next, the exterior is not well kept at all. Our patio had a broken chair on it and was very littered with all kind of foliage and dirt. There is minimal parking also--good thing we had a small rental car to wedge in a little place! The desk clerk was very nice and the breakfast was good. Otherwise, the hotel isn't what Expedia advertises. I wouldn't recommend this place.
