clean, friendly, good valuePosted Jun 4, 2007
Just returned from a week at Hotel Holiday. We are a family of two adults and two children 8 and 4. Staff spoke English and very helpfull. Hotel a bit faded and in need of an update but very clean. Swimming pool excellent for our two kids. No other facilities. A good base for exploration however. Would definatly go again.

good hotel for a base.Posted May 6, 2007
It's not the most easy Hotel to find as its off the main road. The reception staff can speak English and German & all the staff are helpful. Lots of schools stay here & the walls are thin so its bit noisy at night. The breakfast is nice but the way it run, it is a bit disorganised. The room are very clean and there is good bus routes near the hotel.

Disappointing HotelPosted Oct 5, 2006
Our hotel room was a double but had four single beds crammed into it. No kettle for making tea/coffee and infested with ants. Overall levels of cleanliness good though as it was cleaned every day. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and could all speak several languages. Anyone who hates spiders shouldn't sit on the balcony though as it is covered with lots of them!!!

Good ValuePosted Oct 4, 2006
Compared to some of the over priced hotels near the historic centre of Sirmione this one is very good value. Its a little way out of the main centre which has its pros and cons, but is easily served by a bus to save the 30 min walk. The only downside we found was the number of German schools using the hotel (we went late Sept). This was not too much of a problem until breakfast time when the restaraunt was rammed. If you want somewhere to be based and save your money to spend on the good food, wine and and trips in the surrounding area then this is a good choice.

Lake Garda VisitPosted Sep 28, 2006
The hotel was situated in a residential area so finding it the first time was a challenge. The hotel is large and did have several tourist buses their when we arrived but we never found that to be a problem that we have run into at other hotels. The hotel had no internet access which was a hassle but overall we thought it a good value.
