Well appointed hotel with excellent lake views.Posted Oct 1, 2014
Cons: Heated pool.
Location: Gardone is one of the less crowded resorts, but with plenty of restaurants. Access to other resorts very easy by ferry or car.
A beautiful, traditional hotel, offering comfort, top class cuisine and comfortable spa with a small gym. My wife and I both enjoyed great massages. The staff are excellent; very welcoming and friendly. The outdoor pool didn't feel as though it was heated.

Lovely position overlooking lakePosted Sep 26, 2014
We had been upgraded with large balconies overlooking lake on the fourth floor. These are superb rooms . Our friends were next door . A/C is too noisy and the beds do let it down . However, the price was very reasonable. Gardone Riviera is small but has a good selection of restaurants & cafés . Salo is a 30-40 min walk along the busy road but can get a boat . Salo is def more buzzing , bigger lots of shops. We hired a car. Visited various other towns and Verona City, also took boat trips . Prob could have easily enjoyed without car. Lake Garda is overall an extremely lovely holiday destination. We felt maybe at our ages (50's) that Hotel Savoy is more suited to the retired who'd prefer very quiet hotel & location .

Perfect location - in front of the lake!Posted Aug 27, 2014
Breakfast by the pool, plentiful supply of fruit, cereals and bread. Rooms were very spacious, robes, slippers, shower and bath. Room cleaned daily. Staff were incredibly helpful with local information - queries and even supplying an umbrella!! The sauna, gym and jacuzzi were small - but no queues and clean/modern!!

Hotel Savoy Palace, Gardone.Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Think they should have tea and coffee facilities in all rooms.
Location: By the beautiful lake Garda. We caught lake ferries to vIsit towns round lake once, but also had a hire car which with 4 of us made travel cheaper. I
Lovely hotel in good position on promenade by lake Garda. Clean and very friendly staff. The only thing I would say is if you are not in a room lakeside the road is very noisy! Breakast was as much as you could eat, and very good. We had to ask for a kettle for our room so we could make tea as apparently it was only provided in the more expensive rooms and then we had to buy our own tea, just a slight gripe. Swimming pool was clean, beds comfortable would recommend .

Brilliant locationPosted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The staff, cleanliness and location.
Cons: We had a standard room, and it would've been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Location: Location is great for all amenities. Restaurants, cafés, shops, the boat trips and the coach stops nearby for excursions.
The a Savoy Palace has a vintage charm. Although this sounds old fashioned, the truth is that it has been perfectly maintained and is kept spotlessly clean. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but breakfast was varied and fresh and service impeccable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very close to restaurants and cafés and has a lovely view of the lake.

Nice hotel in 'elegant' GardonePosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The staff were always courteous and helpful and also arranged for a taxi service to and from the airport at a lesser cost than that offered online.
Cons: Difficult to see how they could improve as we did not encounter any problems during our stay.
Location: We found Gardone a very pleasant place to stay and the best of the many places we visited on various of our ferry trips.
We really could not fault the Hotel Savoy Palace in any way. The accommodation, food and staff were very good and would certainly return in future years.

A great family week at Hotel Savoy Palace!Posted Jul 28, 2014
We have just returned from a lovely week, the hotel worked perfectly for our family holiday. The rooms, although not luxurious, were very clean and comfortable and as we like a firm mattress, we slept well. The pool area is beautiful. Very secluded and quiet and well kept, especially the pool which was spotlessly clean. The location is great with lots of little cafes and restaurants just outside the gate as well as the lake itself. Breakfast was the only meal we ate at the hotel. The choices were a little limited but the tea, cappuccinos and hot chocolate were great as were the pastries.
