Would recommend this hotel!Posted Aug 2, 2013
Good, clean hotel with wide choice of breakfast in the mornings and decent location. Not right in the centre if Desenzano but a beautiful 10 minute walk down the lake. Good pool too, would stay there again

All round great hotel.Posted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Staff, bar, room.
Cons: Breakfast hotdogs.
Location: Perfect for all types of holiday.
My Wife and I stayed at Hotel Touring in Desenzano for 10 days in June and it was fantastic. Easy, short walk to the lovely beach and plenty of restaurants/bars. The staff in Hotel Touring were incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped us plan trips using public transport, advised us on how to get the best value and kept us informed of local events and weather updates. They also poured generous measures at the bar. If not for the Staff we would certainly still be lost in Venice, Verona or the surrounding areas. They also organised our scooter rental for us which allowed us to tour the whole area round the lake. This was most beneficial because the only Italian I can speak is "duo grande beere per favor", which I think is also wrong! Overall experience was amazing, i cannot fault anything. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended!!

Pleasant hotel at Lake GardaPosted Jun 29, 2013
Pros: Pool was pleasant, hotel is clean, staff are helpful.
Cons: Tell clients the new name of the hotel when it's has changed.
Location: Hotel is close to small beach on the lake. Pleasant walk to the lovely town of Desenzano and promenade along the shore of the lake.
Hotel has changed it's name to Armony hotel and Expedia didn't tell us so a little difficult to find! Hotel is clean with nice pool and good breakfast. English speaking staff recommended good resaurants.

great hotel for relaxingPosted Jun 18, 2013
Pros: staff food, clean relaxing
Five of us stayed in the hotel two couples and our mum. We found the hotel brilliant the receptionists Lisanne,Sylvia, Maria the owner and the night porter were so helpfull, organising taxis, early breakfast, swimming towels.looking up train times nothing was too much trouble for them. We were always greated with a smile and they were interested in what we were up to for the day without interferin g The hotel garden had a makeover whilst we stayed as the hotel has undegone a change of hands since May this was done with minimum noise and mess after a day the garden and pool were really nice for swimming and relaxing in We stay in Hotels around the world with work and pleasure this is one we would recomend to anyone it really is comfortable clean and friendly The hotel is on the edge of the town which is only a 15 min amble along the lake shore which means it is peacefull at night as there isnt any traffic noise. Breakfast was good with a selection of breads ,pastries, cornflakes, muslie, yoghurts, fruit, eggs italian sausages, cheeses and meats all of which was fresh each morning and juices definatly a place we will go back to

Dingy, empty, Bates motelPosted Mar 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was definitely the worst stay I've ever had in my life. I was scared to even stay, but was optionless by the time I checked in because I prepaid and there were no other hotels accessible at that hour. I kept a chair and my luggage in front of the door. I came by this hotel around 2pm to check in and drop off my bags. It was immediately evident that something was wrong when the hotel was completely shut down and locked up. After dialing the hotel phone number a lady stormed out asking what I was doing there that the hotel was closed. Mind you, I prepaid. She quickly changed her story to "the Hotel is changing management today so there was just a miscommunication." I was already way behind schedule so I dropped my bags and figured I'd deal with it later. When I got back around 10:30, the hotel lights were off and it was locked up. I had a key but there was not even one other guest, nobody at reception, nothing. It was freaky and unprofessional. I had my friend call the manager before leaving. He came to the hotel 30 minutes later. By that time,I had scoped out my room and realized AC was broken, toilet was broken, etc. When he got there, I told him I wanted to leave and he wouldn't call a cab for me - my cell phone wasn't working so I was basically hostage. I am disappointed that this hotel is part of the Welcome Rewards program and am enraged with hotels.com.

Peaceful hotel for an incredibly relaxing breakPosted Aug 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed in this hotel for a night when we explored the area around Lake Garda. Having been to a few hotels and resorts around the lake, we found this to be one of the most peaceful and relaxing. Its only a ten minute stroll into the centre of the lovely town. Those running the hotel lay on an excellent breakfast. Sitting by the pool in the morning we couldn't believe how quiet and relaxed the atmosphere was.

OK hotelPosted Aug 10, 2012
Cons: Rooms were exceptionally small
Location: Short walk to main town (about 10-15 mins) but walk to the lake was less than 5 minutes.
We thought that the best things about this hotel was the fact it had a pool- perfect for cooling down. It was a fairly good location, a short walk to main town along by the lake. Just down the road was a Lido for accessing the lake which would suit families. We would recommend upgrading to a lake view room as these had a small balcony too. Our room was very small but adequate. We moved rooms 3 times due to incorrect booking and broken air con but staff were helpful.
