Lovely hotel with great staff
Very welcoming and helpful staff, this felt like an independent, local run hotel which is refreshing after staying in chain hotels. Short walk from Rivoltella which has fabulous restaurants. The pool was sparkling clean as was the whole hotel. The bus stop for Desenzano is outside the hotel, plus a large supermarket is only 2mins walk away.

Value for money hotel
A very slow receptionist, who didn’t understand much English. Good size room with comfortable bed. Great service in the restaurant with a fabulous waiter! Good value for money hotel

Great Traditional Hotel in good location.
Fantastic short break at a very well maintained traditional hotel, set in sight of Lake Garda. Situated 20 minutes walk from the town and 5 mins from the Lake, it is in easy reach of attractions. If you don’t want to walk there is a bus stop just outside the hotel so no issues in getting about.

Hotel Villa Maria
Hotel Villa Maria was a good place to stay as we wanted to visit the the towns around lake Gardia at the end of a walking holiday. The hotel was further out from the centre than we expected. The hotel staff were very good and friendly. The meals we had in the restaurant were good and service we experienced very good.

Very friendly staff. A very pleasant stay.
All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made my stay extremely pleasant. Location is ok - The hotel is about 15 min walk from Desenzano town centre, and there is a supermarket which is 2 min walk from the hotel. Parking is available. The hotel pool is of decent size, so it's great to have a good swim and sunbathing. My only complaint is that the quality of breakfast could've been better - there was limited selection of hot food (only eggs and bacon), and one morning I arrived at 9:30am (they served breakfast until 10am) very little food was left, and the scrambled eggs were left hardened and cold.

Fabulous hotel with brilliant staff
Excellent quality hotel, staff bent over themselves backwards to help with any questions that we had. Lovely clean pool area with bar, again with helpful staff. Good choice of breakfast including fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, hot pastries, cakes, cold meats & cheeses. Scrambled eggs & bacon were also served. Bikes can be hired through hotel & there are plenty of cycle ways around. Centre of town is about 20-25 mins walk & there are a good range of bars, restaurants & shops. All in all a great hotel & great location

Elegant hotel with large rooms
Very attractive hotel and plenty of character. The whole hotel was clean and tidy. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. We were most surprised at the size of our room. The bed was 6 foot wide and very comfortable with lots of space around it. On walking out onto our balcony the view was breathtaking. We were on the third floor facing the lake. I would certainly recommend this. The hotel enjoys an elevated position which awards a wonderful view of Desenzano, the lake and the mountains around the lake. The pool had plenty of sunbeds and there was no need for anyone to lay claim to one by racing out of breakfast. We ate dinner once at the hotel and this was very nice with large portions. Wifi was available on request. There was a sort of limit on use though. I have only given an ok for the facilities as the rooms were dated, the reception was poor for non Italian tv programmes, Wifi should be unlimited and the aircon' needs to be modernised. Breakfast was a standard continental with the usual cheese, hams, croissants and cakes. The coffee was delicious. Desenzano took about 20 minutes to walk to. We had a hire car though so tended to park the car nearer the centre (plenty of free parking spaces). Parking at the hotel is also free. You do have to take your own beach towels for the pool.

Séjour Hôtel Villa Maria
Hotel magnifique. Nous avions 2 chiens et nous étions logé dans une petite maisonnette tout confort. Seul bémol, nous sommes restés 2 nuits et le ménage n'a pas été fait. Avec 2 chiens saurait été appréciable et surtout que le prix pour les chiens est de 20€ par jour et par chiens. Donc un petit coup d'aspirateur aurait été le bien venu. Le restaurant est très bon et la salle de restaurant est splendide. La situation de l'hôtel est proche du lac Et la ville est très jolie. Très bon séjour, à recommander.

Der Aufenthalt war grundsätzlich okay. Wir haben die meiste Zeit im Pool verbracht, da es viel zu heiss war anderweitige Aktivitäten durchzuführen. Die Zimmer und Hotelanlage allg. ist altmodisch eingerichtet. Das Buffet ist nicht das beste.... Das schlimmste fand ich das Personal. Sie waren extrem langsam und nicht aufmerksam. Schade.

Zimmer waren sehr kalt und es gab für 4 Personen nur eine zusätzliche Decke. Wir hatten in der Nach kalt. Auch das Frühstück-Zimmer war nicht beheizt. Bei 15 Grad doch recht kühl.

Guests’ opinions are very important to improve quality and efficiency of our services. We’re sorry you weren’t totally satisfied with the temperature at the hotel. However, the issue was due to the unexpected cold of the last days of September. We are setting our heating system to cope with the new temperatures. Anyway, the indoor breakfast room is very warm and comfortable and all the rooms are provided with extra pillows and extra blankets. They are in the wardrobes. If you wanted even more you could have asked to the reception staff. Hoping to see you again at Hotel Villa Maria or in one another of our over 30 properties all over Italy. Best regards.

Charmerende hotel
Rigtig hyggeligt og charmerende hotel. Store værelser, utrolig venligt personale og lækker stor pool. Morgenmaden er fin og det samme er frokosten, selvom der ikke er det helt store udvalg. Kan helt sikkert anbefales til en rolig og hyggelig ferie.

Struttura molto accogliente e curata. Bellissimo giardino che circonda la piscina e campo da tennis. Ricca colazione sia dolce che salata. Unica nota negativa il materasso abbastanza scomodo. Nel complesso molto consigliato!
