“Tranquility”

The hotel is located on the lakeside in a quiet and tranquil location 15 minutes walk from the ferry landing at Gardone Riviera. The hotel has been completely and tastefully refurbished and is comfortable, spacious and well-appointed with attentive and charming staff, apart from one receptionist. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable and made-up twice a day. The common areas are comfortable with a small but adequate restaurant. Outside is a pleasant, good-sized swimming and a paddling pool with plenty of sun loungers. There is also a landing area with sun-loungers and un-interrupted lake views. There is also an outdoor, undercover restaurant. We stayed B&B. Most British people seem to stay half-board. The breakfast choice was adequate. Dinner were well-rated by our fellow guests but we did not dine because the a-la-carte menu was limited. Gardone is small and charming and has 3 good and one ok restaurants. Salo is too far to walk for dinner.

“Cute boutique hotel on Lake Garda”

A great and pleasant surprise. We were assigned room 304, a corner room with a fantastic view of the lake. The hotel is small and cute, the service is impeccable, the location is quiet, remote and perfect for resting / reading / relaxing. The restaurant and the pool were magnificent. A real treat. There are also other excellent restaurants neearby in Salo. As our good General said, " we shall return " ( hopefully sooner rather than later ).

“lovely hotel”

The hotel was lovely I would recommend a room with lake view such as Bella Vista it was lovely lying in bed looking out at lake. The food was lovely but menu was a bit limited if staying half board we would probably do b and b next time. Location good only a short walk to River Gardena. Weather was awful when we went so unfortunately could not use the pool or sit outside on the terrace which would be absolutely lovely in warmer weather. I would say that the hairdryer was useless though so would bring my own next time. The waiters were extremely attentive and helpful. Cannot wait to go back perhaps early June next time.

“An excellent hotel right by the lake”

This was our second stay at this hotel within 9 months. it was great to return and find many of the same friendly and attentive staff still working there. If anything we enjoyed this stay more than the first one. It is worth eating in the hotel as the restaurant is very good, we found the quality of the food in nearby Gardone to be mixed. As many reviewers have said it is a bit of a walk to Salo but once you leave the main road it is a quiet walk and not at all unpleasant. We would return to this hotel again, it is ideally placed to pick up the Garda ferries at Gardoe and reception will always help put with any other trips you may wish to take part in.

“Excellent”

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A superb hotel with friendly, helpful staff in an ideal location. IThe hotel is positioned right on the lake and has a decent sized pool. The hotel is situated in aquiet part of the lake which makes it an ideal place to go to relax. We will are definitely going to return to Spiaggia D'oro hotel.

“A lovely hotel”

Great hotel, with the best parts being the great staff and the pool right by the lake. A car is needed however as there isn't much in Barbarano and Salo is a 20 minute walk. Also, be wary of travelling outside of the main season as when we stayed there in mid May, the air conditioning was not turned on and the pool wasn't heated as advertised (and it was freezing!). Would thoroughly recommend (in season)

“Relax in pampered comfort.”

Ideal sized hotel with beautiful setting on lakeside.Well managed with excellent staff and service. Friendly,informative but not intrusive.Perfect place to relax in quiet location but good access to surroundigs.Immediately at ease and comfortable.

“Top Quality Hotel”

My wife and I stayed here for the first three nights of our Honeymoon in Italy. We were so impressed with it, that we checked back in for a few more nights later into our trip. The Hotel is immaculately clean and well-presented, and the staff reflect this in their own professional behaviour. They really cannot do enough for you. Granted, this is not the cheapest Hotel around, but we found that you DO get what you pay for. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with the bathrooms absolutely massive (we stayed in two separate rooms at the beginning and end of our holiday - both were exceptional) The pool area is very clean and well-maintained. You get complimentary towels from the hotel, so no need to clean your own. From the pool, you have an amazing view over the lake itself, and access to the lake is easy, through a small gate. The location is really only for those with cars, but the hotel provides ample free (and shaded) parking for guests. Local bars and restaurants were within a ten-minute walk into either Salo or Gardone Riviera. The Hotel restaurant itself offers very good food, and snacks by the pool during the day. The buffet breakfast was also first-class.

“Definitely going back to this hotel!”

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, right on the lake and we ate breakfast and dinner on the terrace looking onto the lake. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and cleaned properly each day. The bathrooms are large and modern, and there is plenty of wardrobe/storage space. Each room has a small but adequate balcony with great views onto the lake. From the hotel you can walk to Gardone Riviera or into Salo where there are plenty of restaurants
