I really cannot recommend this hotel enough, the hotel it’s self was gorgeous, with big windows, marble floors and high ceilings. The rooms follow suit, spacious, clean with all of the amenities you might need. The outdoor pool is the perfect size for a dip, with a bar and plenty of chairs/sofas/sun loungers to relax on and soak up the Italian sun. The spa is exceptionally relaxing, very well equipped with a good size jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, relaxation room and hydrotherapy showers, all free to use every afternoon - we took many opportunities to enjoy the spa and the massages they offered. Every member of staff we interacted with were delightful, exceptionally helpful and kind. The attached restaurant offered a range of delicious meals for a discounted price for guests, as well as offering varied breakfast options every morning. The hotel it’s self is in a quiet area, around a 15 minute walk from the lake and a 20/25 minute walk into the beautiful old town of Peschiera. If you drive or hire a car the hotel also offers free and secure parking. This hotel is ideal for a quiet and relaxing getaway, I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Poor management at the Ziba Hotel.
We arrived on a very hot day. Our room was warm but tolerable. When we arrived back to the room after dinner the A/C was not working. They did provide a fan for us which helped a little but we had a very uncomfortable night. The following morning, I discuss the problem with the on duty manager. She promised some sort of compensation. We checked out the following morning and I asked about the compensation which was not offered at checkout. She explained the the manager would be contacting me the following day. We have heard nothing from them. I would not recommend staying at the Ziba. Management did not keep their word.

Beautiful relaxing hotel
This is a really nice hotel , in a not too nice area. If you’re driving great , but long walk to town. Shame about building works next door. On positive side, lovely room and ambiance, very nice breakfast and superb pool area on a hot day. My partner says wellness very good too. Shame the pool bar was not up and running , got feeling a bit of renovation still going on but losing out on snack/drink business during the day. Lovely stay for 1-2 nights and found a great risotto restaurant 2 min walk away to save going in to town.

Great stay
We spent a very enjoyable five days in this beautiful hotel. The rooms were large and spotless. The restaurant served a great breakfast and all of the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Easy access into the town for restaurants and bars. It was too late in the year to enjoy the swimming pool and lovely garden area but would like to on a future visit.

Nice place to base in the lakes region
Will h the German rail strike I had to drive home and they were the ideal half way point. Hotel is a great find, I wish I had more time to fully use the property. Minor issues were the kitchen not willing to make something off menu, offset by the manager opening a bottle of blush and serving it by the glass. Would have liked hand wash cloths in the room. Garage parking at 3€ a night and excellent addition. Breakfast staff was overrun with guests but they worked real had to overcome.

perfect base hotel for couples. plenty of parking for rental cars - a fair 1.5km walk in to Peschiera centre. 3 trattoria/restaurants in walking distance (less than 400m away). very much worth a short walk down to "Vecchio Mulino Beach" for food/drink overlooking the lake. short drive to trattoria "Le Pergole" has good food near the Lidl supermarket. the hotel itself was a pleasure, all staff helpful and good english. we enjoyed our stay, the room, breakfast all good and we ate dinner there in Ziba bistro on 2 occasions. we made use of the spa for a massage and steam room. i had a splash in the outdoor swimming pool (max 1.4m depth). we had no issues with road noise. no tea/hot drink making facility the only drawback but reception would get us hot water from the bar so we could make a drink in our room. I would happily stay here again and would recommend to family and friends looking to explore the area.

The hotel was clean and modern, the staff were very helpful and friendly, our room was cleaned every day and clean towels and bed linen were provided. The breakfast was lovely , plenty of choice and all the food was fresh and delicious. The pool was very welcome especially as the weather was so hot during our stay. The only drawback for my husband and I was the long walk down to the lake one way and a long walk into Peschiera the other way in over 40 degree heat along the main road. If you have a car then of course this is not a problem. All in all it was a lovely holiday in a lovely hotel.

Great Hotel / Spa
First time at this Hotel, would recommend to anyone, great location close to Peschiera just far enough out from the busy night life if you want peace and quiet. Great Staff almost all spoke good English. Great food, pool, Spa, would go back tomorrow.

A clean modern well presented hotel, check in/out was effective and no fuss, only there one day one night, service and requests weren't a problem. Only issue, when making initial booking, a request for when the restaurant was open (hrs) on Sunday night, no reply from the hotel happened, when pointed out at check in, apologies did happen and reception was able to point us to restaurant just 50 metres where the food was excellent and the price very reasonable, Hotel rooms very quiet comfortable and from a child's perspective, the wi-fi worked, so no problems. Breakfast is buffet with a selection of hot/cold, although some hot had been out for awhile, when asked for fresh cooked, chef did it immediately with quality and quantity. Didn't do Spa or treatments, so no comment Overall a comfortable stay and would return

Very nice hotel
About a 20 minute walk to/from the town down the main road. But if you cross the road and turn left there is a footpath a short way along that takes you down to the lake and you can walk along the shore to town. Beautiful. The hotel has a lovely pool set alongside well tended lawns and bushes where you can relax on one of the many sunbeds and be secluded.

Disappointing stay
We had a disappointing stay in hotel ziba. We love Italy and we're very excited about a long stay beside lake Garda. As a family with 2 children we thought it would be easier to stay in one hotel and a 4 star one to make sure that our trip was comfortable. Our mistake was choosing hotel ziba. The service appeared friendly but as soon as we had an issue or a question it very quickly changed. And we had lots of issues. The rooms are very small and dull. There s a hand held shower and sparse comforts. You would not wish to spend any time there. The maids have yuu awake at 830 with their noise but in any case the very load air conditioning would have you awake anyway after a poor sleep in such an uncomfortable room. I love the gym and was assured there was one. There is not, there is a poorly air conditioned room with no windows and three machines. The room was so badly air conditioned that it would not be possible to use. The breakfast was basic at best and very inconsistent. Every day I had to ask for something, e.g. Water! Each time the very stressed one person who was looking after the area reluctantly and not very friendly eventually helped. Not great when you are trying to organise a family in the morning. We needed to go the doctor and were sent to the vet and again when we asked for help we received none. Our requests for basic information. About the local area were not met. very disappointing stay.

Beautiful, stylish new hotel with great staff
Booked 1 night here last-minute in order to see Lake Garda on our way back to Milan to finish our Italy trip. The staff was very helpful in providing recommendations for things to see, where to dine, & how to navigate the area on foot. This property is very new, clean, & stylish. It's a short walk of maybe 10 mins to the lakefront & 15-20 mins to many restaurant options right along the lake.

Amazing stay at Ziba hotel. We felt welcome from the very first minutes. The room was spacious and the furniture is brand new. We enjoyed the SPA and the restaurant. The food deserves 5 stars and the service is brilliant. We felt at home. Planning to be back soon.

Modern, stylish hotel with a wonderful restaurant
We stayed for eleven nights in early September 2016. The Ziba Hotel and Spa is very nice. It was originally an 18th Century winery as can still be seen in the wide doorways and vaulted ceilings. It is a little way out of Peschiera del Garda, so be prepared for a 25-30 min walk or to wait for buses. There is a car park around the back. The pool is safe with a partially enclosed, shallow area at both ends. There is a pool bar open from 10:00 to 19:00pm and there are plenty of sun beds around the pool or in the shady garden. The restaurant is superb for fine dining and served the best food we had all holiday. A two course meal with 50cl of wine for two cost just under 60 euros but was well worth it. The restaurant is open 19:00 - 22:00. The waiting staff are wonderful, particularly Marco, the Maitre D' who is utterly passionate about his food and wine. The bar and restaurant are closed on Monday The rooms are very pleasant and are cleaned daily to a high standard. There were 3 power sockets in the room plus a shaving socket, hairdryer and bidet in the bathroom. The rooms don't have balconies, they have French windows that open onto a rail which was handy for drying clothes. The breakfast is continental though bacon and scrambled eggs are also available. There are cakes, rolls, a toasting machine, cheeses, salami, ham, fresh fruit, fruit juices and an orange juicing machine, cereals, yoghurt. It was a nice base for walking into town or for trips eg to wonderful Sirmione.

Amazing hotel and spa
The hotel is situated in a quiet area within a 20 minute walk of the port, train station and bus service. There are many local restaurants within a fifteen minute walk including the hotels spotless restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful to meet everybody's dietary requirements. The hotel rooms were of a great standard and size. The spa area was amazing and the foot spa gratefully received after a day's walking! Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel in Peschiera del Garda, just outside Verona. It was a beautiful area and the hotel was lovely. We could easily get into Verona by train and also enjoyed visiting nearby Sermione. The hotel had delicious breakfasts and our room was very comfortable and clean. We were made to feel very welcome :)

Easy, convenient, quiet
The hotel was tucked away and unassuming from the street, but the stay was quite nice. Very modern hotel. We stayed one night after a day at Gardaland and chose it based on the location. The standard european mattress left me wishing for something softer to lay on, but it wasn't horrible. The room had enough space and felt larger than most rooms. The best part about the stay was the fact that the hotel utilizes a soft water system for the showers. The water in Italy is hard (due to abundance of natural minerals) but the soft water system left my skin nice and silky soft. It was a nice surprise that an engineer like myself appreciates. The breakfast served had a great variety, standard european brioche/pastries, american (eggs and bacon) and selection of cereal and toast.

i was in the hotel 4 nights it locked in very good place if you with car only you have exit to the hi why in2 min also near the lake very beautiful surrounding the service in the hotel and the rooms was excellent also the spa of the hotel was nice only thing that was bad !!! and i get insulted even it from the service in the restaurant from the man that work there in evening (frown on you the menu and do for you like favor don't speak in English and even try to help and give a good service i was very offended by that ,

My husband and i had a wonderfull time in Italy,we had gone over for wedding, the Hotel was perfect for us, good location very friendly staff even the cleaners were such a friendly bunch, couldnt speak english but somehow we managed to understand each other, didnt want us to leave. The food in the restaurant cant comment on that as we never had dinner there but the breakfast each morning was very good, good choice for everyone.We actually hired a car while over there as we like to visit different places, but there were plenty of bike hire shops etc around. Would definately recommend this Hotel.

Leider aus meiner Sicht ist keinen 4 Stern Hotel. Klimanlage funktionirt sehr schlecht und kühlt nicht ab. Frühstück qualitativ schlecht. Sehr einfachen und sehr laute Zimmer nahe Haupstrasse und Autobahn). Schlechte isolierte Fenster. Zimmer und Badzimmer sindcsber sauber. Pool ok aber leider nicht so sauber. Personal an der Rezeption sehr nett und hilfbereit.
