Very comfortable but expensive hotelPosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Room Comfort and furnishings and overall comfort of hotel and attentiveness of the staff.
Cons: A less formal area with lower cost simple meals.
Location: Montreux itself and the lake and surrounding areas
The room was very comfortable and well furnished as was the whole hotel. The food was expensive and there was only the main restaurant to eat in as there was no bar menu at lower cost. It is a very formal hotel and apart from the entrance area, bar and restaurant there is no other less formal comfortable area. The hotel is very close to the railway station but you are not aware of the trains at all. Overall very well presented and comfortable but a bit expensive and formal. Easily accessible from the train and close to the town and for us the Jazz Festival.

In front of the stationPosted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Situation of the hotel
Location: In front of the station Close to the Jazz festival venues Close to the lake
If you arrive by train, the hotel is just in front of the station, very convenient No entrance from lake side though, few steps away from the lake Stayed for the Montreux Jazz Festival, the hotel is situated very handy place for the festival. Food stalls are in front of the hotel, main concert places are few minutes on foot. Check out is at noon but cleaner came three times starting at 9:30 am . Since this is a quite pricy hotel, I wanted to be more relaxed without room cleaner.

Nice hotel in a very nice locationPosted May 12, 2014
Cons: Tea and coffee making facility should be provided in the rooms being a star hotel
We had a great time in Montreux and specially having choosing a nice hotel .The location is beautiful, very close to city center , shops and restaurants. The hotel itself has a nice restaurant overlooking the lake. The rooms are big and spacious and really comfortable bed with a nice little balcony overlooking the lake. The only downside is that being a star hotel it does not have any facility of making tea and coffee in the room and that can be a big disappointing specially if you are tea lover. You can order room service but was not very happy with the quantity. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and helpful staff. Would love to go back .

Beautiful hotel with stunning views over LakePosted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Tastefully decorated hotel with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva from dining area. Central location. Free Wifi in hotel.
Cons: Having outside space to sun bathe.
Location: Across from railway station - using Montreaux pass card - reduced travel and all bus travel in region is free. Walks along the lake beautiful.
Staff welcoming, room spotlessly clean with large bathroom and two balconies. Comfort room so views over to station but smaller window had view of lake. Very quiet with no traffic noise.

Great experiencePosted Dec 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the train station. It is beautiful and the staff are attentive. The bar is a bit odd and plays loud electronic music and the food at the restaurant is expensive but very good. It is just a block up from the Lake and was perfectly located for going to the Christmas Markets. I highly recommend staying here.
