Swiss Excellence!Posted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Friendly service and central location. Huge bathroom with very nice tile work, glass shower and separate tub.
Cons: Minor complaint but the electronic control panel for the room could not be turned off and filled the room at night with a faint blue light.
Location: 5 min walk (up hill) from the main train station and very close to all major shopping areas.
My wife and I recently stayed a night in a deluxe lake view room and were very impressed. Our room (610) had recently been renovated and this made our stay a real treat. The décor was very luxurious and the bathroom downright palatial! Our room had a small but functional balcony with a great view of Lake Genève. I am very happy to recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel near Metro and StationPosted Sep 23, 2013
Location: Good location for visiting the old town and shopping. Easy to take the Metro to Ouchy and the lakeside where you can catch a boat to Evian.
This is a beautiful hotel, with many facilities including a hairdresser and it is furnished to a very high standard. Our room was fantastic with a sleeping area and a sitting area with sofa and armchair. Both areas had TVs and balconies overlooking the town. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean with two wash-hand basins, a bath and separate shower. We went out for breakfast to a nearby cafe where they served very good croissants and hot chocolate. The hotel is within walking distance of the railway station but is it up a very steep hill. It is one stop on the Metro from the station.

Everything was as promised and expected.Posted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: Hummum in the hotel spa and snacks in the LP bar.
Cons: The Brasserie in the hotel. Food was good but cigar/cigarette smokers ruin the dining experience.
Location: Just across the street from the Metro. Free city transport card from the hotel.
Absolutely a 5 star hotel from the moment you drive up to the moment you depart. Disappointed that the Michelin starred restaurant is closed in the summer. Loved the free mini bar. That was totally unexpected. Highly recommend a day trip to Montreaux. Walk from Montreaux train station along the Lake boardwalk to the Chateau Chillon. Take the boat back to Lausanne.

The best stay in LausannePosted Jul 8, 2013
Probably the best hotel in Lausanne by far. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Staff is professional. Bars and restaurants make your stay in this calm city more enjoyable. Lausanne palace is a hub where my contacts insisted to meet me. I had one of my best experience in the SPA that is well managed and with a very wide choice of treatments.
