Pool/waterpark is perfect for families with good hours! The offer ice cream in their shop until 10pm. Their internal restaurant has good options, however our fries were over fried (hard) and chicken was tuff. We loved taking the trolly to the Grand Geneva for a nice dinner. We ordered pizza from mama cicilies vs the hotel because they have just thick crust. The pool area has an awesome snack shack, with hot food, snacks, icees, novelty ice cream, canned beer/white claw and a full service bar. We were there for 4 days and only 1 person checked my beach bag and actually made me put two snack size check mix behind the counter. (Eye roll). The game room is fun and staffed well. I love the texting option to the front desk. Very responsive. Overall great stay!

Very accommodating visit. Fun is there for the whole family. We spent about 4 hours at the waterpark, and my girls still weren’t ready to leave. We will return.

Great time with the kids! Loved the outdoor hot tub, can’t wait to come back seems like there’s a lot of outdoor activities but the weather isn’t warm enough yet. Staff was very nice and rooms are great!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Staff were friendly and the rooms were big and clean. Tons of fun activities and the kids had a blast at the water park and arcade. Will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed the Waterpark and hot tub. The kids all had fun on the activities within the waterpark. Room definitely needs some remodeling. New carpet and a few upgrades in bathroom are needed. And cleanliness was so so. Floors in bathroom and kitchen were dirty. It was quiet and a safe environment however. We had adjoining rooms with our friends which was fun!

This is usually a 5 star for us. We’ve been coming for 10-15 years. But this visit was not as great as previous stays. Our room was in need of updates. There was a weird hole in the carpeting. The shower needed to be re-caulked. The stove in our adjoining room was wonky. We couldn’t get tv to work. Small things but they add up. The pool renovations are great though. We love having the indoor water park so close to the Chicago area. I’m sure the rooms will be spruced up in no time & we’ll rate highly again our next stay

We did not enjoy the sleeper sofa as much it was very uncomfortable making for a restless night sleep. However, all else was good.

We have been going to Timber Ridge for years. This years visit was so disappointing. Check in took forever with only one person and lines of people. Water park was extremely overcrowded. Tables are left dirty and filled with wet towels. It's impossible to know if someone is sitting at the table or just left all their garbage. With new water park renovations we expected it to be amazing. The water was extremely cold and all we were told is that they "were looking into it." You spend all this money and it's so cold your little one is freezing, you can't sit down or even get a clean table. The lazy river is a joke. There is no "lazy" about it. At least half is kids running around in it or swimming in it that you can't float without being run into, tipped over or have to worry about running over a little kid. Life guards are not paying attention and not enforcing any rules that are posted within the water park. In the game room some games will take credits from your card but not give you a chance to play. I had to have this fixed for 4 different games between my children. Ridiculous! Food at The Hungry Moose took forever and when it did come out it was cold. Waitress apologized for how long it took but said there was a large to go order so we had to wait until that was completed. Rooms need a lot of TLC, lots of broken cabinets, dishes and are just not well maintained. I wish I could get out money back for this stay.

Kids definitely had a good time. My complaints, the room was disgusting when we arrived, called the front desk and said they would get someone up there to clean nobody ever came. Indoor/outdoor hottun kids were being unruly, jumping all over the outaide equipment which is SO unsafe. Tried getting staff to address it, nobody ever did. Really wish we wouldve been told the onsite dining was under temodel. Serving in a tacky banquet hall, yikes. Overall outdated and just not clean.
