OK for the pricePosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel served its purpose for a room to stay for the night. It smelled of mildew and animals. It was not dirty so to speak but there was black mold in the bathroom and there was a sour odor in the air.

Room 120 Is ExcellentPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This room was unbelievable. It smelled like fresh cedar and was bigger than most apartments. Sauna in the room and bed in a loft like setting.

Good place for a night or 2Posted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel and room were very clean and everything was in good repair. The furnishing were a bit dated, room a little small and had a slightly stuffy odor. Keeping the AC improved that. Tiny breakfast area with only a couple tables and no real selection. Basically toast , cereal juice & coffee that we took back to the room. There was a line for the one toaster. Convenient right off the Northway. Served our purpose to sleep & shower. As I said very clean and beds were comfy.

Excellent staff, horrible beds.Posted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: The location to nearby parks and other recreational activities. The size and cleanliness of the hotel was up to par, the staff was very accommodating
Cons: The quality of the bathroom towels and investing in softer more comfortable beds.
Location: Lake George, Saratoga Springs, boating, nature walks, parks
I recently stayed at the the Super 8 Motel in Queensbury for two nights with my family during a road trip. Overall I was quite pleased with the condition of the room, building and demeanor of the staff. Everyone was friendly including other patrons of the hotel. The Continental Breakfast had a decent simple sized collection of fruits, breads, cereals to choose from if you enjoy eating a lighter meal in the mornings as well as unlimited coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24/7. You have to request for an iron since there isn't one standard in the rooms, oddly enough they offer you irons but no ironing board so we ended up ironing our clothes on the bed. The towels in the bathrooms were low quality since it had a tendency to leave 'towel fuzz' on your skin while drying off. My one major gripe with this location are the beds, I felt like I was sleeping on a sack of bricks! I could not get a good nights rest and that is saying a lot for me considering i'm a pretty heavy sleeper and I can practically sleep anywhere without a problem. I just couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep and the beds were unforgiving and very firm, because of this reason I will not return to this Super 8. Why pay money for lodging if you can't even be comfortable in the room you are staying in? I do feel awful since the price and the location were great for me.

inexpensive motel close to SPACPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Convenience and price
Cons: Update worn out furniture, rugs, etc
Location: Easy off and on to main route
Motel sign was hard to see from the road - overgrown trees and bushes. Room was clean, but quite worn. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was NOT "American Continental" as stated (i.e. no eggs), just continental - not much for gluten free. Liked convenience to area attractions.

Surprisingly good dealPosted Aug 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
We needed a last-minute deal, & we don't recall ever having stayed in a Super8, so we weren't expecting much for the buck. However, we were pleasantly surprised! We have back problems, but the king bed & pillows were very comfortable. Some might mind the highway "white noise" on that side of the hotel, but it didn't bother us, as we're used to it at home. We witnessed the staff handling some stressful situations with a cheerful and/or serious professional manner as needed. Our main complaint is that the breakfast room is way too small for the crowd.
