Weekend Getaway

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: The location, multiple large patios on the grounds and the view.
Cons: In need of an exterior paint job, some newer furniture and nicer linens.
Location: Great location on the water, just 5 minute walk or trolley to the main street. Plenty of shopping and restaurants near. Great adventure trips close by
Had a very enjoyable weekend at the Tahoe Resort. The location is perfect just a few minutes from the main strip. The views are spectacular. The facility itself is dated and in need of some touch ups. That being said the rooms were clean and everything worked TV, fridge and AC unit. Bathroom was very small with old fixtures. The property is quite steep and can be tough to get up and down but that also contributes to the amazing views from your room. The pool was warm and well maintained. Plenty of room on the property for families to relax, eat and play. Small Beach but good water access.

Quick overnight stay

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Lakeside
Location: Go to the Lone Bull down the road for a good breakfast!
The staff was welcoming, the facilities were in good shape. Overall, this is a good value for the location right on (access to) Lake George.

Nice room. Terrible beds!

I enjoyed the hotel's location and it's private beach. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Don't stay here!

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The place needs a complete renovation.
Location: Lake George is beautiful but stay away from this hotel!
The hotel is very dated and dirty. It is not at all what it appears online! I would not recommend staying here if you want an enjoyable vacation.

Had to wait past check in for room to be cleaned. Beds not too comfortable. Room fine otherwise. Didn't really bother us. Can pretty much do what You want.

Hotel well located but needs updating.

Posted Jul 21, 2014
We spent 3 days at this hotel and were pleased with it's location right on the beach. The heated pool was wonderful and everything was quite clean. The manager accommodated my special request to be located close to the beach as I have limited mobility. Beds were comfortable and the picnic tables right outside our door made it pleasant to have breakfast outside. The rooms are dated but they are making an effort to spruce things up. For some reason the air conditioner seemed to make the room feel humid. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Will visit Again

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The cleanliness of the room. Keep the back door close while cleaning! No phone in the room to call for any service. Add an ice machine near the pool
Location: If located a few minutes of everything! the village with all the restaurants and shops. Cruise lines, waterpark.
Location of the hotel is perfect, close to everything. It has a small beach area as well as a nice pool. Room was nice but it needed a little bit of cleaning: advised to hotel management, tell your staff not to clean the room with the back door open! it lets the bugs inside the room. Also, hotel and/or Expedia should warn new visitors of the parking regulations. We got a $20 parking ticket on our first day. You have to pay for parking everywhere and all times even on holiday and after hours! Also, Expedia should mention the trolleys. You can catch right outside the hotel for $1 instead of expeding all the $$ in parking which is very expensive. Overall it was a great visit to Lake George. So much to do and see and so little time!

Great Lake View

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Cons: Some remodeling needs to be done but it looked like they were in the process of doing it.
Location: Most things were within walking distance or a shortwalkaway.
This was the first time staying at the Tahoe Resort. My husband and I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. The pool and surroundings were always kept very clean. We had a very enjoyable time and will return on our next trip.
