ok for overnightPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: view and setting are incredible - with a little work this could be a destination instead of an overnight stop
Cons: almost everything except the actual setting - rooms and furnishings are seriously dated and worn out
Location: lots to do in nearby lake George - a trolley runs every hour so there is transportation into town
badly in need of updating - stuck somewhere in the 60's, facilities are worn out - toilet wouldn't quit running - had to jiggle handle

My Visit to Lake George and Saratoga SpringsPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Clean, and quiet, I already recommended to my son
Cons: There are no improvements I can think off
Location: We went to Saratoga Springs race Track, casino, we dined at Smokey Joes, Olive Garden, went to Walmart for immediate Benadryl (Mosquito bites).
I had a very pleasant experience, the Travel Lodge was amazing, clean, friendly staff and efficient, the pool, breakfast etc. Amazing and Pet friendly

Nice hotel, great view, pleasant staff.Posted Jul 2, 2014
This is a nice hotel to stay in lake George with large room and great view on mountain. Staff is very friendly and always there for you. Lake George is perfect for family with plenty of activities, beautiful road, all is at low cost, highly recommended.

Never againPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Coffee was decent.
Cons: Insulate the walls
Location: Lake George is nearby, but it is a rude, overpriced and obnoxious place. Next time there is a family funeral I will look for a room in Saratoga.
Rented this room to go to a memorial for my brother who died due to an SUV driver failing to yield while making a left hand turn. The walls were so thin I could hear the person in the neighboring room snoring all night. The highspeed internet did not work.

Ok for 1 night stayPosted May 28, 2014
Staff is helpful and very friendly. Went above and beyond. Room was just ok. Room was clean but lacked some amenities so I had to ask for some things. Overall ok for 1 night maybe 2. Lake George is near hotel but like 18 minutes walking and 5 minutes by car.

Decent for price.Posted May 27, 2014
Decent hotel for the price. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Walls are paper thin so hope your neighbors are quieter than ours were!

The place needs a face lift, but the staff is A1 !Posted May 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff was WONDERFUL, the smell in the room was awful, it is outdated, not maintained outside. It is really a shame, because the views are beautiful, the owner of this chain could do so much with the place to make it better. The front desk and cleaning staff are wonderful and very curt. They make you want to come back.... They are well situated, close to the shops and Lake George.

Overall a good stayPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a good hotel with a good location. We stayed there for one night only and really enjoyed our stay.Lake George and prospect mountain both are very closely located. The only reason i have given 4 star is because of the b'fast served.Very basic b'fast with average service.Still i would like to recommend this hotel.
