Adorable home and hospitable innkeepersPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Location! It is about 25 minutes from Gore Mountain and the town of Schroon Lake is very quaint and has a couple of good dining options.
Cons: Some of the decor could be updated. The room was very clean, but wallpaper in bathroom could be replaced/refreshed.
Location: Sticks & Stones Restaurant has great food and decor!
The Tumble Inn has a comfortable cozy feel. The breakfast is amazing! It is an old house, so you will hear noises from outside the room, but that is normal. The innkeepers are very accomodating and friendly.

We loved the ambiance and location. Nancy and Larry provided a lovely setting, friendly atmosphere and outstanding breakfast. We consider ourselves foodies and breakfast lacked nothing. We loved the place, Nancy and Larry the beautiful area and would not hesitate going back. The room exceeded our expectation.

Wonderful StayPosted Sep 1, 2014
Just got home from the Tumble Inn during our stay in upstate New York. Very cozy, comfortable, quiet, and peaceful stay. Room was tastefully decorated, clean, and welcoming. Would definitely come back. Breakfast was a delight and delicious. We really enjoy the peace and homey feeling of these B&B's versus the hustle and bustle and noise of hotels. We'll see you again next time we come to Saratoga area.

The Tumble Inn was fantastic. We have stayed there before and they are so welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. We didn't eat until dinner.

Comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfastPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The B&B was close to town where we could enjoy the beautiful lake and nice restaurants.
Cons: We enjoyed it all.
Location: Of course you could see the lake in town. There were hikes and historic sites and beautiful scenery. On the night we stayed, we enjoyed a concert.
This was the first bed and breakfast we had been to. My husband and I were not quite sure what to expect. The host and hostess were so welcoming and wanted us to have a pleasant stay. A very informative guide about staying at bed and breakfasts was provided as well as things that could be enjoyed in the area. Breakfast was fantastic the next morning. We enjoyed great company and wonderful food. We only stayed that one night but took with us some nice memories of a beautiful place in the mountains of New York.
