“Good hotel for the money”

We have stayed here several times over the last few years, and consider it a good value. It's fairly clean, but the cleaning and maintainence is getting a little slack. They don't offer any breakfast.....not even coffee.

Area recommendations

Lake Havasu is great. There are many different restaurants for all tastes. Plenty of recreational activities.

“Booked the wrong hotel”

After some confusion, we actually booked the wrong hotel, we were supposed to stay at the Nautical, but oh well! The beds were super-comfortable, and the lady at the late-night check-in was super-nice! Short walk (about 2 minutes) to the dog beach, which is great considering the hotel is pet-friendly! Nice over-all stay!

“Clean, basic just what you want for sleeping and playing in the Lake”

This is the 4th year a a row that I have stayed at the hotel, it is clean and well run, don't expect a fancy posh place, but it is just right for a few nights stay while out on the lake.

“Hotel staff not pleasant”

Disappointed with hotel staff at check in. We are a family with two elementary age girls. We did not feel welcomed upon arrival. The person who checked us in was angry so we did not feel comfortable and definitely would not go back to this hotel.

“No Hot Water--No Coffee”

Checked in and saw mice in lobby (was told that they were endangered species). Woke up to no hot water. There was no coffee anywhere in hotel.

Area recommendations

Mismanaged hotel; told by office staff that owner decided not to supply coffee to rooms or hotel during summer months. There was no hot water in the morning.

“Island Inn”

I stayed at the Island Inn in Lake Havasu for a family vacation to the Grand Canyon. I was unable to find a room near the park, so I decided to stay in Lake Havasu and drive to the Grand Canyon (4 hours away). I didn't want to drive 9 hours from Southern California. The price for the room was reasonable and their customer service was excellent. I went during the weekdays so it wasn't busy. It is conveniently located near restaurants and is within viewing distance from the lake if you have a balcony room. I enjoyed my stay there, but one minor annoyances. The air conditioner vent in my double room could not be adjusted, so it kept blowing on me and kept me up the first night. That's a easy fix on their part. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay.

“Love the location. Close to restaurants, shopping & the lake. Would go back”

Would stay again. Convienient. Quiet. just need to clean a little better in the lobby! Rms were fine. Could use queen beds instead of doubles.
