Reasonable long-term stay for the price

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: The mini kitchen meant that we could have snacks, etc. whenever we wanted to.
Location: Walking distance to London Bridge and the related sites.
We went to Lake Havasu to spend a bit of time and relax. The suite that we had, with fridge, microwave, cupboards, etc. was great for this. The hotel provides basic dishes, cutlery, etc. so you are all set to take up residence. The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff was great. The place isn't fancy, but then again, neither are the rates.

Very comfortable and practical suite, but not pretty. Each room has cooktop, micro and frig. Our room was quiet even though the hotel was sold out.

Just One Night

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: The staff and the pool area.
Cons: Paint, replace old furniture, recarpet.
Location: ?
The staff was very nice and accommodating. That was great! We did enjoy the pool area...water was clean and warm. We had more than enough room for our needs with a kitchen/living room area, bedroom and bath. A funny thing was there was a kitchenette w/o any pots/pans, dishes, dish towels, etc. We never travel with that stuff. Overall, our room needed a good update..walls, flooring, furniture/appliances.

Nice place to stay - unless you want to sleep.

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Overall this place was affordable and convenient - but the bed was so bad that we ended up taking turns sleeping on the couch. And as for their claim to serve a "continental" breakfast... Well, if you consider coffee, toast and dry, cold cereal breakfast then you'll like it. We didn't.

Convenient suite in Lake Havasu City

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Conveniently located. Room rate was low for a suite.
Cons: Hotel security. The door on the southwest side of the first floor that allowed direct access to guest rooms did not actually latch shut.
Location: London bridge, lake, restaurants.
Got stuck with a smoking room. I didn't mind but the smell was noticeable and might bother some. Good rate for one night. Right in the middle of town and within minutes of everything including the London Bridge, lake, grocery store, restaurants, and bars. Parking lot was just big enough for a full hotel and didn't offer access to any street other than Lake Havasu boulevard. Security was not their highest concern as the door on the first floor that led directly to the hotel rooms had a card reader but did not see to actually latch. Overall, I was pleased with the facilities and the hotel staff.

Not what we expected

Posted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: Convenient to local sights--------
Our suite was very dated. Furniture was saggy; ceiling fan was out of balance & noisy. Although there was a coffee pot, no coffee or supplies were provided. Had to call front desk for towel; only one bath towel was in the room. No Kleenex was provided; an extra roll of toilet tissue was provided. No note paper, no pencil or pen. The entire hotel was geared toward economy. Breakfast consisted of bulk corn flakes, mini muffins, toast (if you asked for bread)----juice & coffee; 6 oz cups were provided. I believe this business was more of a long term rental & not suitable for overnight guests.

more than just a bed

Posted Feb 4, 2015 on Hotels.com
Our booking was bungled and first room had cigarette burns and was only for 2. The helpful guy at the front desk had it sorted us a family room quickly. Liked having a kitchen though odd you have to ask for even basic plates to be in it and they bring up a set for 2 when 4 are booked for the room. Loved having a pool/spa and it was tranquil when the group with their cooler of drinks headed up for an early dinner. Lots of retirees there escaping northern states for long warmer winters and they were lovely to chat to over breakfast, where waffles made us happy.
