Horrible treatment by GM!!!

Pros: On this visit, NOTHING!!! Because of poor treatment, I will never go back there!!!!
Cons: Yes fire the GM as he has no clue about customer service and would not even help a disabled person, which is completely unacceptable!!!!!
I had visited this hotel a couple of weeks ago and stayed 2 nights and it was a good experience, however this past weekend was so bad I will never go back and never refer this hotel. On Friday night November 7th, 2014 I arrived at this hotel around 9pm or so I was so tired and just needed rest. I am a disabled person with spinal arthritis and some things are very difficult for me such as walking, standing, or sitting for any length of time. I asked for assistance with my luggage and was told by the General Manager that he was not my slave, he was too busy to assist me. At the time I did not know what his position was, which after this experience I do not understand how he is in the position he is in. I had to get the luggage cart and do it myself and my key did not work so I had to go and get a new one. The guy proceeded to yell at me at tell me that he was not my slave several times and I responded with " this is a service facility and it was his job to assist me" especially since I am disabled. Frustrated I loaded my own luggage and had to push this large cart by myself to my room. Once unloaded I left the cart outside my room against a wall. At 10 pm I called the front desk to get a wake up call and the guy continued to yell at me so I just hung up the phone. He called me back twice telling me that I needed to return to the cart to the front desk, which I responded it is not my job. He called me back 2 additional times and tried to order me to return the cart.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the way you were treated. I will pass this on to the staff to raise awareness of how to properly treat a customer, especially those with a disability. It's a room

It's not they best but it will do in a pinch. Room was hot when we got there and couldn't stay in it right away. I think they should cool them down if you have a reservation. Coffee was spilled all over the wall and not cleaned up, no tissues after I used one as the box was empty. CC on tv kept coming on randomly, and towels were not adequate to dry off completely. It was okay otherwise. Cold breakfast was minimal to say the least.

Apologies about the hot room, as the seasons are changing we're trying to figure out the best time to stp turning off the AC as it's not needed in colder weather. Normally, in the summer we would turn them on. I'll let my housekeeping know to keep a better eye on spills and those tissues! We are in the process of replacing the TVs at the moment, so it won't happen again! As for the towels, we don't have a lot of selectionm because we are a franchise. But, I'll talk to my manager about finding a different vendor! We hope to have you again soon!

Room was decent. Staff friendly but hard to find. No elevator so you have to walk all your luggage up the stairs. Indoor poolnot heated - too cold to use. Hot water was intermittent - couldn't always get a hot shower.

Charged twice.

The room was fine, just not fantastic. Still, we were on a road trip looking for a one night stay, and for that, it was perfectly acceptable. My only complaint was that we were charged twice for the room, once by hotels.com and again by the hotel. When we protested at the hotel, the desk person insisted it was just a receipt and that he wasn't charging us again. Frustrating.

very noisy stay

There was nothing special about this hotel other than price. We stayed on main level and heard a lot of running around upstairs late into the night. very disruptive sleep.

Don't Plan to Return

Pros: Sara, the afternoon Counter Manager was very accommodating and pleasant.
Cons: Rooms could be cleaner and better prepared for customers.
Location: Good location, close to restaurants with easy access.
Room A/C was ineffective. We moved to another room. The new room had a refrigerator that didn't work and a broken coffee maker. Also the room was not very clean.
