Beautiful interiors and phenomenal breakfastPosted Oct 19, 2013
For Swiss standards, this hotel -- next to the gorgeous heart of Lucerne -- is a bargain.

Convenient.Posted Oct 8, 2013
Staffs and accomodation was very good. What I like the most was the heated towel bar. It keeps the towels warm when you need it. Buffet breakfast was sufficient. And the breakfast staff was very accommodating with what you want. The only downside to it was the wooden floor that creaks and groans whenever somebody was walking on it. The guests on the floor above us come home really late at night and every movement and pull of their chairs or whatever was scraping the floor used to keep us awake at night. Other than this, I don't mind to come back or recommend this place.

Our Favourite Hotel in SwitzerlandPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: The architect did a superb job of blending the old with the new.
Location: The lake, downtown and the mountains were right at our doorstep--perfect!
Hotel Rebstock is a perfect blending of the old and the new. Great charm. The staff was extremely kind and considerate to us--great people. Our room was very, very, great with its hardwood and modern appointments. Also it overlook a lovely garden and the downtown area.as well as the lake.

Perfect Luzern LocationPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: The room was spacious and provided a comfortable setting.
Cons: The TV needed updating but we watched it very little.
Location: It's near the lake and most of the historical sights. The location is perfect.
The hotel is not far from the train station. Our room was comfortable. The staff was very helpful in providing electrical adaptors and answering all our questions. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff was attentive.

Everything was great except there was a church next door and their bells rang all night long. Didn't get much sleep. They should tell you that before you book the room. It was every hour. Otherwise, a good experience.

Comfort ++Posted Aug 29, 2013
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: We went to two concerts, saw the Lion statue, walked the old bridge, saw Old Town and spent a day up at Mount Pilatus. We stayed 3 nights in the Hotel
We loved every minute of our stay at this hotel. It is an easy walk from the main Lucerne Railway station. The staff were very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Our room was quite big and the bed was really comfortable. We slept very well and even the church bells did not keep us awake. We ate in both the cafe part and the dining room. Meals were piping hot and very good. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

A nice experience in the new wingPosted Aug 25, 2013
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Rebstock and feel we were fortunate to be in the new wing. We had friends staying in the old wing and it was very creaky. The breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good but overpriced. The hotel location is outstanding.

On the lakefront in LucernePosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a lovely property in historic buildings that face the lakefront in Lucerne. The property features a restaurant that provides superb food with a local flavor, including a generous breakfast buffet. The location is central and adjacent to the celbrated lakefront. Two small cautions: the elevator stops at the landings between floors, so you will need to carry a bag up or down at least one half-flight of stairs. Too, you may want to resist the temptation to leave the windows open to catch that lakefront breeze at night; the street noise started early the evening we were there. But these are minor observations about what is otherwise a wonderful property.

Great stay at Rebstock!Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel! Amazing staff! Only thing be warned...no AC, so gets very very hot in the rooms in the summer! But that wasn't enough to keep me away from going back there next time! They are fabulous people that really go the extra mile to take of their guests! Stay there! Trust me! Restaurant is excellent too!
