Big disparities between advertisement and reality
This was not a hotel but more of a motel for "romantic rendezvous," if you know what I mean. There was no place to put our luggage. There were only 2 hangars attached to the wall where you can hang you clothes while you "do your business." The "garden" that is pictured on the website is a parking spot for the outside entrance to the room for when you do a discreet check in and has no actual places to sit or a garden. You can see the shower through the room wall. One of our glass shower walls was cracked. Mold in the shower and mini fridge. The TV was in a huge mirror(?). What is advertised is not what we got, and the price for the room and quality was disproportional. Simply put, this is a sex motel, which is fine when you are looking for that but not when it's advertised as something else. We asked for a different room but the hotel was booked, filled with a tour of elderly Italians and what appeared to be a highschool sports team. I'm sure a blacklight would inspire 30 NCIS episodes.

It was the only option with availability in the area but overpriced for the cheap-build , sort of 80s style accommodation they offer. In my room there was no wardrobe, no safe lock and cleaning could have been better. Breakfast is also quite “minimalistic” and not of great quality. This has been my second time here in the last months (when every other hotel is fully booked, here you will find a room!) so I could verify my first-time opinion. Also: in both cases customers were complaining about cleaning issues.

We booked 2 rooms for the same price, one was comfortable and newly renovated, the other was old and the bathroom was so small you had to open the shower door to sit on the toilet. The staff was rude, I had asked in the evening if our booking included breakfast, I was told yes, the next morning we went down had breakfast and when we checked out both rooms had an addition of €20 for the breakfast. When I asked the consierge why he said I had just been given the wrong information the night before and it was my problem, so their customer service was very disappointing.

Basic hotel that might benefit from a gentle push out of the 80s. Staff apparently not very customer- oriented: I have assisted at a couple of very animated discussions with unhappy customers during my stay. Same happened with cleaning workers. I have been unlucky myself deciding to work from the room and having to deal with the noise of major gardening works. Internet sometimes disappearing and no business area available.

The rooms were nice but the beds were so HARD!!! Its was Like sleeping at the airport floor. Continental breakfast was Awesome! 😍 Close to Lake Majorie and Lake Como. Landscaping could use some TLC. When exiting the facility you can’t see if cars are coming because the shrubs are obstructing the view. They need to do something with the empty space in front of the parking lot, I would put some put picnic tables. Overall okay, would stay there again only if they would upgrade their beds.

Excellent facilities and value for money. We had a family of two adults in a double bed, one 4 years old in a single bed and a 2 year old in a cot (which we brought). There was plenty of room. The restaurant managed very well in the current circumstances to serve a very good meal.

Clean & Simple in Northern Italy
Quaint place w/ friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable, all perfectly adequate. They offer a decent little breakfast and couldn't beat the price, so I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again - and I quite likely will when I need to return to the area in the future. Not sure if it's a reflection on the property or the clientele, but I could frequently hear other guests passing down the hall, often talking. But the best thing about my stay was - and perhaps it's just a personal thing - there was no 'hotel funk' smell, maybe because they have hard floors instead of carpet in the rooms. That just turns me off completely - opening a hotel room door and getting punched in the nostrils by some weird stench. Unfortunately it seems to happen quite a lot and I hate it, but the point is that this hotel does NOT give you the nose funk and that made it an overall winner in my book. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a budget-friendly option in the area.

Not worth it.
Absolutely NOTHING like the pictures!!! Rooms are dingy, old and outdated. Their breakfast was super cheap for Italian standards, just boiled eggs and cereal with milk, and it is NOT close to the airport, which is why I booked it. It was a $50 taxi ride to/from because it is "out of the way" according to every Taxi person I spoke to. My first review ever - that's how awful it was.

If you have a car and need to go to Malpensa airport, it's less than 10 miles away. Our room on ground floor had parking space right next to room with door from room to parked car- very convenient. Room was okay, breakfast not great- motel quality.

Misleading photo on the internet
The room pictures on the websites are misleading. We booked a triple room and when we arrived the motel, we completely couldn't accept the room like this (the bathroom is completely rotten!). So we requested to change to a deluxe room and there was nowhere to see how much is priced for a deluxe room. The check-in-person just told me the additional cost for EUR 20 per night, then I asked how much for the triple room I booked and the deluxe room, he answered EUR 75 for triple room and EUR 90 for deluxe room (completely not worth!! with this price,I can book a better hotel)! So I questioned him why not EUR 30 in total? Then he said ok to pay back EUR 30! It is a really a trap to take people to this motel! So don't stay there!!!

When we first arrived, the night manager acted as if he couldn't be bothered. He obviously didn't want to answer questions and would barely look up from his table/phone to check us in. That however was not the case in the morning as the that lady was very friendly and quite helpful. Nice room and very clean although our shower did leak quite a bit out onto the floor. Found a great gelato place that was open very late after check in which made everything better.

The children bed was a bunk iron bed, an outdated motel. Sitting on the toilet the feet were in the shower! Does not deserve four stars, only two!!! The photo is much better than the reality!!!!!

Great Parking
This was a very nice clean hotel with really fast WiFi. We came in late but were able to check in just fine and every hotel room has its own parking space right by your door.

we were well received even though we checked in at midnight. The room was much nicer than we expected from website pictures. Breakfast was not included so that was a little downfall as the location was not near places to eat. The beds were really comfortable and we loved the parking spot access right outside the room.

Important to specify a car is necessary when staying at the hotel.also the restaurant does not open in the evenings on Friday, Saturday or Sunday another point which could be included in any information. The staff were very helpful, polite and cheerful making the stay a pleasant experience and we would recommend the hotel.

Wow! where do i start with this derelict hotel?? in the middle of nowere. 60€ for a cab from malpensa airport during the day. we got to the hotel at 11.30am, we had been travelling from 4am we were not allowed to check in until 1pm, normally decent hotels see you are shattered and let you check in early, but no we got told there is nothing around unless you have a car, which we didnt. we asked her if there was a supermarket nearby, where she gave us the completely wrong directions, where we ended up walking for an hour and a half on the motorway to a village up a hill. to later find out it was a right u had to take not left, when the receptionist clearly said left. when we got in the room, i wanted to book a filght straight back home. it says complimentary water, ye right from the tap! u have to pay to watch films from the early 80's & 90's. €8 1 film. if u wanted to watch satellite tv or use the internet it was 10€ for 24 hours. the electrics where dangerous! my husband plugged in the laptop and it blew the electics out. the plugs in italy are different from the uk and spanish plugs.so we had to ask for an adapter which we were told they would bring it to our room, but they didnt we had to ask again. the hotel doesnt do dinner on fridays, saturdays, or sundays. so we had to venture out to the village, where we found a pizzeria that serves pizzas just on the days the hotel doesnt serve dinner. weird!

Upon entering the Hotel, the front desk officer was not in his best mood as he was the only one doing front desk and playing waiter, bar man and cleaning and it was no easy job. Rooms were well maintained but a few lights were fused and upon mentioning they took no notice. Communication was a problem. Food was good for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was not good. Price-wise, it was reasonable with free parking.

Warning: Hotel description is misleading
The Green Motel Milan is a poorly managed motel that promises far more than it delivers, with sub-standard facilities and unprofessional (and sometimes unpleasant) reception staff. It is listed here as a four-star hotel, but how it might have achieved this rating is a mystery to us. In reality, it is comparable to one-star hotels. We requested a double room but were given a room with four beds squeezed into the same space, which made the room uncomfortably cramped. The antiquated air conditioner is useless on hot summer days. Even at night I was sweating in bed and had to sleep without a sheet for a few hours. As of July 2011, the listed amenities include "Wireless (high-speed) Internet access - complimentary" but during our visit the woman at reception refused to honor this, saying in a rather curt tone, "I don't know what you read on the website, but I'm sure it isn't free of charge." When I politely suggested that the management should either honor the information on the hotels.com website or contact hotels.com to have it corrected, she became downright surly, saying loudly, "If you want internet, it's three euros per hour!" The restaurant is very basic and is open only limited hours. The location is quite remote, and even using GPS we got lost trying to find it the first time. The only positive thing we can say about it is that the sheets were clean. Overall, the Green Motel Milan was a very disappointing experience.

last night in Italy
Hotel was fine for last night before catching plane home. Older hotel but clean. Best part was the staff. They allowed me to use their computer to print out my boarding passes and even allowed us to have breakfast 30 minutes early so we could leave on time to catch our flight. Super helpful people.

Good value MXP hotel for those who drive
This hotel is about 7miles from MXP airport. Road goes through villages, etc. You WILL need GPS to get to airport. The area is very confusing. The rooms have private carport right outside and entry to the hallways, too. Parking is free and plentiful. The beds and bathroom were nice and comfortable. Room was decent-sized for Europe. TV was made within last 5 years. I would compare it to Residence Inn class hotel, though the rooms were smaller. No kitchen, but well-stocked bar. You cannot get ice anywhere in Italy. This hotel at least had an ice machine at front desk, but it hadn't been working for 2 weeks.
