DON'T!!! JUST DON'T!!!Posted Jun 16, 2015
Cons: The rooms.... HORRIBLE.
It gives me serious concern that people rate this 4.1 out of 5.0. SERIOUSLY??????? The room smelled dank and moldy. The bathroom seat was coming loose. The tub didn't drain. I called the maintenance guy who couldn't fix it, because the lever that opened the stopper had broken. It was too late and I was too tired to ask for a room change. My son, who travels with me often and stays at Hampton Inn, was quite disappointed. His first comment was, "it smells like dirty socks." IT WAS JUST AWFUL. Don't do it. Don't. I paid $130 for this hotel during Lake Placid marathond weekend. I found out that it normally goes for $99. I'd rather pay $40 more for Hampton Inn. It didn't even include breakfast.

My experience was ok. The room was little dusty but it was manageable.

Location: A little ways away from the center of town, but several restaurants in walking distance.
We spent a relaxing evening here after a long day of travel and work.

Convenient for Paul Smith's familiesPosted May 1, 2015
Pros: Affordable, friendly, helpful, clean
We have stayed here a few times, while moving or visiting our son at PaulSmith's. Affordable, friendly, clean. The indoorpool is a plus, especially during those cold months!

Nice HotelPosted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Very clean.
Cons: More front desk help.
Location: Very good restaurant right next to the hotel. Lake Placid is right down the road from the hotel, tons of things to do in this area.
Very clean hotel. Staff was nice. Restaurant next to the hotel was an added bonus.

Convenient, spacious, clean!Posted Mar 3, 2015
I just needed an overnight room, and was lucky to find this available. Reasonably priced, and the room was spotless and spacious too! A very competent night clerk gave me a complete rundown of all the amenities that I would obviously never use, but in a good natured way.

Pleasant hotel almost waterfrontPosted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: hotel has an indoor pool which some would favor ; hotel restaurant open to 2pm , no dinner is in a separate neighboring building. Great bkfst
Cons: fitness facility added
Location: the hotel s website is very informative
very clean and inviting, large room space, great looking bedding , overall soothing environment. Particularly remarkable was the use of a cover on the remote , contending to the health concerned. Ample towels and great shower and water pressure. Huge bowl of delicious fruit on front desk availalbe to guests, 24/7. ( not your standard, soft apples and sometimes rotting bananas. Extremely quiet and sunshading draperies. Superb air and ventilation. Only negative remark is no fitness facility as noted on some websites. Also in winter ( with the harshness this year ), sidewalks are not too well maintained making the jog difficult and sometimes treacherous. Otherwise would and will return . Good value for $$$ compared to Lake Placid, only 20 mi away ...
