Would stay here againPosted Oct 17, 2013
Very pleasant staff, room had more than enough space and beds were comfortable. Hotel was clean and the pool was a bonus. Breakfast was decent too and included in the price. Directly across the street is a Stewart's gas station/convenience store and next to the hotel is a Howard Johnson's. Hotel is right on the lake and has paddle boats available (for free) in the warmer weather. Certainly a good value.

Floor Squeaks and CreaksPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Allow pets, pool area was nice, on the lake! Free boat usage! The room was big.
Cons: Sound proofing, new carpet, renovate bathroom
When people above us moved around the floor squeaked and creaked like they would fall through. I could hear them just walking across the floor. I could see light under the door to the next room, so all noise no matter how low could be heard. The bathroom needed a renovation and the tub was cracked.

Would recommendPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: It's location, breakfast, access to paddle and rowing boats, the indoor pool.
Cons: The patio doors should be replaced.
Location: Grocery, pharmacy and good restaurants, namely the Pan Dolce.
We were offered a better room when we arrived. We enjoyed everything, from the free breakfast to the access to the lake by paddle boat. The only negative is that the patio doors need replacing. You couldn't see much through them even though they were clean. Too bad because they hid the view of the mountains.

The room was clean and comfortable, close to downtown Lake placid. For the price we were satisfied.

The hotel was quite comfortable. Bathing facilities were very satisfactory. We had a power outage in the middle of my shower but I managed with a headlight. The breakfast was first rate; excellent quality and quantity. Our events were at the southern end of Mirror Lake and adjacent to Lake Placid thus well centered. Thank you
