Location: Close to all Lake Placid sites and attractions.
We had a great time, Lake Placid and area are beautiful. Olympic sites great and very accessible. Nice shopping and many good restaurants in area. Hotel was very clean and quite modern.

Warm and comfortable.

Pros: The main hotel lobby is amazing. Cool place to relax with friends with some food and drink.
Cons: It would have been nice to have breakfast included.
Location: Lake Placid is a beautiful town. Unfortunately we were just passing through.
Curtious staff. With a clean and comfortable room. We needed more emenities (soap, coffee) and the staff gladly provided. Only wish we knew about the indoor pool. Then we would have brought our swimming attire!

Nice B&B property with high comfort for families

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: the rooms and the bistro food
Cons: expand some dinner fare options
We were four adults and two kids. The property assigned us connected rooms even though our booking was only 48hrs in advance with no such request. The front desk staff is nice, the evening manager Chris was very pleasant to speak with. The rooms are good. Seems like they were recently updated. The lobby area gives a chic look with a nice place to sit by the fireside and the bistro section offers quick bites. The breakfast is also nice and reasonably priced $10pp. They did not charge us for the kids.

OK

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: clean, relatively cheap
Cons: breakfast offerings - it was like the food car on an Amtrak train. we took one look and went downtown
Location: outside of town. need to drive in for anything unless visiting the cemetery next door
just needed a place to sleep and it fulfilled the need, but nothing special.

Hotel is close to the village.

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Comfy bed.
Location: Near all the attractions.
I would have liked some tea in our room as I do not drink coffee. We were situated by the rear entrance and the door banged non stop from people coming and going. We spent our days enjoying the beautiful mountains and shopping so it was not a big deal. The Redneck Bistro was the best place to enjoy a home cooked meal.

Short and sweet!

Pros: location, location, location
We arrived late and left early so not much to report. But overall it was a lovely hotel. We didn't see or interact with staff as it was a late arrival.

Wonderful ambiance!

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: The lobby, our room and the pool! Staff went out of their way to be helpful. The lobby was very business friendly. Many electrical outlets!
Location: Excellent location. Not in the heart of town but easy access by car to events.
Everything was beautiful from the parking lot to the bathrooms. Lobby was rustically elegant and inviting. Rooms were modern, attractive, and clean. Beds were comfortable. Pool was just the right temperature - and it was clean and clear. Staff was helpful and polite. WiFI was good and strong. Breakfast was good but not complimentary. We'll definitely be back.

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel for the area. Family stayed in other hotels and all agreed this hotel was much nicer. There is no view to the hotel but that was not a problem.

Nice hotel, short drive from main street

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Like the lobby, nice fireplaces, very cozy. It's a short drive to main street Lake Placid. Very nice staff.
Location: Short drive to main street Lake Placid, lots of small shops.
Nice hotel, very clean, pretty modern, nice decor. The pool was great, the water was not too cold, just perfect. The rooms are a great size, beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. When we booked we did not notice that the breakfast that we included in the package was for 2 adults and 2 kids. We were 3 adults. The staff was kind enough to give us the breakfast and not charge us for the extra adult, very much appreciated!!! All in all it was a pleasant experience.

Fine - but pricey for location outside of downtown

Posted Sep 7, 2014
A wedding going on till late, a bit loud. A loud baby next door. Clean and new but pricey for location outside of town. Rates should reflect non walking distance to downtown. Buy breakfast for a small price. Premium price did not outweigh location. Room and bathroom were clean and new. Did not use amenities. Would stay closer next time for the price. But all in all was okay........................................
