Very nice hotelPosted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: Very afforable rates, even for a weekend at the peak season, clean, comfortable, very close walk to the casinos, great staff!
Cons: None at this time.
Location: The hotel is located very close to the casinos and walking distance to the beach. The hotel provides free beach passes to their guests.
I've stayed at the 7 Seas several times in years past. I've found this hotel to be one of my favorites when I'm in South Lake Tahoe. I have not been back there is years but I was very pleased to find that this hotel is still very affordable, clean and is still operated by a great, friendly staff. The owners/operators take great care in their property and they always make certain that their guests are well taken care of. It's a short walk to the casinos as well. I've perviously stayed at Horizon and last year at Mount Blue. I was very displeased at both of these over priced, noisy hotels. Next time I'm back in SLT I'll be sure to stay at the 7 Seas again. This place is a gem!

The two things that were very good were the owners and the location. That said, the motel could use a facelift.Peeling paint in the shower is unappealing.

Location: close to the casinos- able to walk
Very nice for the money. We were an easy walk to the casinos. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even had dog busciuts at the front desk for our dog. We would deffinitely stay here again.

CozyPosted Sep 7, 2011
We needed a cheap, convenient hotel for my son's marriage just down the street on the beach. It was perfect. We had a room with two queen beds. That was about all you could fit in there, but that's all we needed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. This is walking distance to the casinos and to the private beach. In the mornings, we read our paper, drank some great coffee, ate a lite breakfast and fed the birds. (All on the house). It was very, very nice. If you're like us, (a room is something to sleep in, not spend your time in), then this is a wonderful little hotel. The management was wonderful and provided a lot of local info. Thanks !

Great value, convenient location and clean accommodations.Posted Mar 2, 2011
Just as described. An awesome place to rest your head if you're skiing in the area. Walk to Heavenly gondola, casinos, shops & food. Great location, super clean, great rates. The folks that run the place are very nice. If you're trolling a bunch of sites, looking for a reasonable price and great location, stop your search and just book this place. It's nothing fancy. But, if you're looking for a basic motel type accommodation in a great location, just book it.

Skip it unless you're bargain shoppingPosted Sep 16, 2010
We needed a dog friendly hotel. This was that but not much else. The room was very small and felt like walking into a closet as there was no balcony door, and only a small window to the street. It was mostly clean but the maintenance and upkeep was poor quality. Crack in the sink, mis matched tiles, old carpet, etc. During a 7 day stay we wanted housekeeping mid week only and they didn't even change the sheets or make the bed. Basically gave us new towels and nothing more. I will say that the breakfast selection was nice and varied, though only available starting at 7am. The hotel managers are onsite and hang out at the outdoor tables drinking throughout the day and night. While nice, it made it very uncomfortable to come and go unless you're looking for a B&B type experience.

I stay my wife and son. We enjoyed. Clean and cozy place. Especially the owner lady was super. You should get her advices about dinning, shopping etc.
