Scary and sketchy at night, otherwise, it's great.

Great location..... Bad hotel

Well the parking situation is horrible, cramped and hard to park. Half the rooms lights, and electric outlets didn't work. And to top it off, the sliding glass door wouldn't shut all the way unless you used the metal stick they screwed into the door to jimmy it shut. Needless to say.... They should spend money to renovate. Will NOT be back

Good place to crash

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Check in was rough as the room key didn't work. Yes they still use an actual key! After several attempts to get in by tweeting the key/door knob, Matt decided to upgrade me to a deluxe room with a deck. I wasn't impressed. Several things I could have complained about but the hardest thing to deal with was the paper thin walls and noise from the parking lot and contractors. Honestly, this place is all about value and friendly employees. You throw in a Continental breakfast, grill, laundry room, even a car vacuum, and it becomes very difficult to bad mouth the place... I'll just say it's great if you simply need a decent spot to crash and don't sweat the little things.

You get what you pay for- for $100 it was fine. I've stayed at the property in Half moon Bay- much nicer!

Great location!

Pros: Location, staff and price. Also, free parking. Marriott a few blocks away costs $26/day to park. Free beach pass and breakfast also.
Cons: Building is quite run down.
Location: A few blocks from the lake, casinos, skiing.
The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. Old building and nothing fancy, but for the price, it is a good deal.

Bed in first room sunk in the middle. Changed to a different room and bed was better. Spa jets didn't work. For the price it was ok. Staff was pleasant & helpful.
