Bad experience

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Have someone available
Location:
The hotel was closed. And no one was there to open the door. I had to drive home at midnight

Not too bad for the price

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Cheap!
Cons: Cleanliness. Breakfast.
This is a very basic motel. 'Breakfast' was individually packaged Danishes (not fresh), bad coffee, fresh bananas and apples (good), orange juice (good). So not really what I'd call an actual breakfast. When I arrived the towel in my bathroom had a long black hair on it (yuck). The man at reception was very helpful however and was very straight up about how bad the coffee was and recommended some places for us to go and eat which was fantastic. He was very knowledgable about the area.

Clean hotel, there are a few minor signs of wear, but overall a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was a bit basic though!

Basic, but nice

Really enjoyed the stay here. Staff was kind and helpful (they even let me leave my car in the lot after check-out while I went hiking around the lake). Had an upstairs room facing the golf course which was a nice view and had a cool back deck to sip a beer and listen to some tunes. Right across the street from the lake and within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and, if you like good beer, Tahoe Mountain Brewing Co. Definitely going to stay here again.

You get what you pay for :(

The bed was comfortable and it had a small flat screen tv. Those were the only pluses. My room was on 1st floor, I prefer 2nd floor and requested it, but was told this room was better...NOT!room was facing the golf course but because there was netting (to prevent balls from hitting hotel) I felt like I was in a cage :( The chairs were stained-ew, gross! The shower took over an hour to drain. The heater regulator did not work so the room kept getting too hot. I chose this hotel for the hot tub, and it was so gross that I did not use it. Icouldn't wait to get out of there and will not return. :( The front desk guy was nice enough. The location was good for walking, but the facility itself needs a lot of work!

Ample parking space. Good location. Tidy room. Good enough for 1 day and 1 night stay.
