Nice hotel

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Cover on bed
Location: Ski and cruise
It is a nice hotel with good location. However the bed is not comfortable, specially the cover. Other stuff are pretty good.

Nice breakfast and location

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Location and the breakfast
Cons: Coffee in lobby! and less furniture in the smaller rooms...
Location: Five minute walk to the lake.....
This is close to the shore of Lake Tahoe and a nice location. Rooms were a bit on the small side and probably had too much furniture in them! Breakfast was a nice surprise, instead of the usual buffet selection it was a waiter service with a choice off the menu of blueberry pancakes, orange juice and coffee. A nice change from the normal buffet selection. Nice to have real cutlery instead of the plastic stuff!

Tahoe Weekend

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the lake and the concert venue all in walking distance.
Location: The marina and beach and shopping all within walking distance.
Our room was a bit small and cramped but adequate. The room was clean. The onsite restaurant was excellent and had a super wine list.

Good hotel. Was our first time staying there. Close to everything. Wish they had 2 queen beds in a room however it was good. A hot breakfast was complimentary.

quite expensive but still ok

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: The hotel needs upgrading. It seems pricey but it's South Lake Tahoe so what can you do.
Location: Water sports at Lakeside Marina. Harrah's and Harvey's casinos two or there blocks from the hotel. browsing the shops at the village. skiing.
We took the South Tahoe Express from Reno airport. The ride took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Stopped at Harvey's hotel and walked from there. If you are carrying lots of suitcases, it might be quite a walk but for us, it was ok. Took about 15 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel better in picture. Staff were nice. The room was quite cramped but nice view of the mountain. We were provided private access to the beach, which was about 10-minute walk from the hotel. It was a private beach that gives access to paying public. Non hotel guests have to pay $5 to go in. The beach provided rentals of jet skis, stand up paddleboards, canoes etc. It was two blocks from Heavenly village and the gondolas. The hotel has it's own restaurant but we chose to eat in the village. The complimentary breakfast was not your typical Best western buffet. This was a proper sit down breakfast, where you get to choose anything on their breakfast menu.

Ain't to bad

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Not a bad get up considering the price. Fairly clean and easy to access. The rooms were very, very, small with lots of unnecessary furniture. Queen size bed, three end tables, desk, dresser, armoire, and three chairs all in one tiny room. Other hotels have had more spacious rooms.
