Too far from Lake TahoePosted Aug 5, 2014
When I was looking for a place close to Lake Tahoe, it showed up. What I didn't know was that it was located across the Kingsbury grade and was too far from Lake Tahoe. So we didn't get to Kayak!

Beautiful setting, complete resorgtPosted May 29, 2014
Pros: Location, views.
Cons: I couldn't believe the pool was NOT heated. We were told the pool was cold but we could use the mineral spa for an additional $30!
Location: We attended a wedding at the property. Very beautiful setting and catered food and bar service was excellent.
Great location for this place. Newly remodeled with nice amenities. Bed comfortable, spacious bathroom. Cafe food is good but slow service. I was surprised to see no flat screen TV, they have an old box one.

Great viewPosted May 27, 2014
Our room had an absolutely amazing view of the valley and the mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the living room was spacious. The TVs were tiny almost unwatchable from across the room. The large kitchen only had three pots, no frying pans. So if you were looking to make breakfast you would have to bring your own pan. The only spices they had were salt and pepper, so again if you real wanted to cook you would have to provide the spices and the cooking oil. The restaurant was good not great for the price and breakfast place was a much better value. The pool area is family friendly and if you like to hike or bike the trails are great. So if you are not planning on watching TV or doing much cooking a nice place for families to stay.

Just okPosted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: Kitchen was well supplied. Furniture was comfortable. Views are pleasant.
Cons: BAthrobes should be supplied in the rooms. The mattresses need to be improved. They are seriously uncomfortable, hard
Location: Hiking, skiing, Reno
Staff could not find reservation resulting in tiresome check in delay. Mattress extremely uncomfortable. Room was not serviced one of the days. Sound proofing between the rooms is very poor. I was not made aware that the spa was not included in my reservation. The subsequent price to use the pool or hot tub was exorbitant. The bathroom sink was in bad shape, cracked and unsightly.

rip offPosted Jan 12, 2014
David Walley's is a nice resort but recently they started to charge money for Hot Springs. David Walley's is in the middle of nowhere no shopping no place to go only hot springs. Everyday you visit the hot springs you have to pay $30 per person per day. I have big family my room cost me less than hot springs. rip off

OveratedPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Event staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. The hotel staff on the other hand was not helpful at all. Difficulty in checking in and never saw any cleaning staff on our 2nd day. If I was to redo my weekend I would have stayed in Carson City and drove out to the wedding event just for the wedding.HIGHLY OVER RATED THE STAFF WAS JUST INTERESTED IN SELLING TIMESHARES

Wallys Resort & SpaPosted Oct 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rip-Off. $125.00 standard room per night. Charged me an additional 60.00 to use pool and hot springs area for myself and son staying with me. Two other family members arrived late in the day and went swimming for two hours for an additional 60.00. Very crouded, unable to use chicuzi's. Internet did not work at all. Had to drive to pool and spa area. No ice machine in building or adjacent building. had to drive to get ice. Will not stay there again. Old furniture. Over priced restaurant.

Trip to GardnervillePosted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed in the Canyon complex. Bed was awful. Pillows were awful. There was some kind of plastic sheet under the bottom sheet that kept us too hot. Way overpriced for what you got. We will find something else next time we are in the area.
