Amazing place amazing people and roomPosted Mar 28, 2014
I love this place so much I want to keep it a secret ! Haha. It really is amazing, great price ,location , services and staff. It's not a hotel experience , it's more like giving you a taste of what it would feel like to have your own place in Lake Tahoe . It's so close to everything too. I'm in love.

Pros: Apartments in great condition
Cons: Sofa Bed Mattress. Breakfast.
Great 1 BR apartments. Checkin was painless, staff is friendly. The main lodge has a nice spa, sitting areas and even a game room. Parking limited in front.

Excellent value!Posted Mar 12, 2014
Based on our friends recommendation, we decided to try out this hotel, which was just on the other side of Stateline in Nevada side. Everything was excellent! The bedroom, kitchenette and living room were all spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, etc. HVAC worked great. Had fans, plenty of lights, a balcony as well. The premise had a movie room (which we did not use), free popcorn, a spa (which we did not use). Decent number of parking spaces. Only thing I would suggest a future guest do is to check about their breakfast scene. We checked in Sat afternoon and checked out Sunday morning. Sunday morning's breakfast was fruits and muffins. They serve continental breakfasts only on Saturdays (i think). So, double check on that. It did not matter much to us, but could to others. Overall a very good value. Will highly recommend, and will visit again for sure.

Very Relaxing and nicely appointed roomPosted Oct 13, 2013
The room was very nice and priced well. The bed was quite comfortable. I am not a big traveller or hotel expert, but this seemed like a very good deal.

Weekend In Tahoe (Stateline)Posted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: Price, Location, Amenities
Cons: Add Wi-Fi to the room, expand HDTV channel options
Location: Casinos, golf, lake activities
I was planning to be in Tahoe for a quick weekend and did not want to spend an arm and a leg in doing so. I was looking for accommodations that had a kitchenette so that I can prepare meals for an elderly friend. Fortunately, Expedia introduced me to The Lodge at Kingsbury Grade. It was in a great location (away from Highway 50) and very quiet. The Front Desk was very friendly and helpful. When I got to the room, I felt immediately "at home" as the room resembled a very nice one bedroom apt. 2 flat screen tv's (with a few HD channels). Best of all, it was very easy on the wallet. The only down side is that there is no Wi-Fi in the room. Wi-Fi was only available in the main lobby area...so not ideal for business travelers. I would definitely go back next time I have to be in that region.

Great! The best in TahoePosted Nov 5, 2012
Pros: The large rooms
Cons: Its a little far to walk to the casinos
The hotel staff is fantastic! They were very helpful and gave lots of great advice on what to go do and see while in Tahoe. The room was beautiful and was better than expected. We will be staying at the Lodge every time we come to Tahoe.

True hidden gem!Posted Jul 29, 2012
Pros: The property is very well kept, and has a classy vibe. The main lobby is a place where you could actually hang out and enjoy yourself.
Cons: Parking was a bit restricted, and there was no air conditioning during our summer visit, but it is quite pleasant at night using the screen door.
Location: The place is backed up onto undeveloped, private property. Many rooms look out into a natural forest environment.
This place is the definition of what a hidden gem really is. These are not standard motel box rooms, but well kept apartments, ready to be lived in. You can fully entertain a small group, in comfort and style here. My apartment overlooked a lovely wooded area, with absolutely no other buildings to be seen. I paid fifty dollars less a night than my brother and his wife, who were stuck in a cramped, stuffy little box in another, supposedly high class establishment. After staying here, I would not consider staying anywhere else in the Stateline area.
