Charming old lodge in a beautiful setting.

Pros: The building we were in had nice architecture. It was easy to find all the amenities, and the staff was professional. Breakfast buffet was great!
Cons: The bathroom in our room needed some remodeling. Bed was fine, but the housekeeping was sketchy.
Location: Convenient to North Shore shops, restaurants, and boating activities, yet quiet.
Great breakfast buffet! Close to everything North Shore has to offer. Nice short hikes around the lodge. Plenty of activities for families. The zip line looks like great fun. A nice pool. Our stay was great because it was so quiet and secluded, yet only a minute to Tahoe City and lovely restaurants right on the beach. Very picturesque. We came away feeling that North Shore was one of the most beautiful places we've ever been. Truly!

Pros: Loved the spa service. Excellent staff and services.
Cons: Room wasn't cleaned until after 4:00
Overall it was a pleasant place to stay. Lots of stairs, which are a challenge. The TV was hard to work and the desk staff was less than helpful resolving the questions.

A nice laid-back place away from the commercialism of South Shore. Nice groomed grounds, clean large rooms, great breakfast buffet.

Nice hotel close to Tahoe City

Pros: The location, the hotel staff and amenities
Location: Swimming, hiking, biking, boating, people watching
We had a great stay at the hotel. The studio room was remodeled and nice. It was a family friendly hotel that had a great buffet breakfast. They have an adventure park called Tree top adventures it cost extra and reservations are recommended, there are zip lines and various rope bridges and obstacles. My wife and son had a blast and was worth the cost. The hotel staff was warm, friendly and very accommodating. They were nice enough to give us a late check out time even though they were fully booked that same day! The only down fall would be there is no restaurant or room service available, the restaurant is only open during the ski season. There were still plenty of restaurants nearby so we didn't starve. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: I thought it was overpriced for the value.
Location: The location is fantastic. There is easy access to everything wonderful that can be done at Tahoe.
The hotel staff seemed a bit lackadaisical about customer service. They didn't come off as being committed to excellence.

Cons: in room coffee maker
Our kids said that hands down this was the nicest place we have stayed while on vacation. We had a wonderful time! One of the worlds best zipline and river rafting just 5 minutes away.

Pros: I liked the staff, the hot tub, the layout feels much more cabin like and less hotel like. The breakfast buffet is awesome and included in the cost.
Cons: Lets face it, the place is a little dated, however everything is in good condition. Note, your room may be a bit of a walk to get to.
Location: Its close to many great restaurants and stores.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Very accommodation and friendly.
