Hotel/casino near an Alpine lakePosted Feb 22, 2015
Beautiful view of Lake Tahoe and mountains from our room which was spacious. Two bathrooms were very convenient. The room and bathroom were well maintained and clean. Management needs to ensure the upholstery is spot free. We had a lovely dinner at their top floor restaurant. Delicious food and excellent service. Would recommend it.

DIRTYPosted Feb 20, 2015
Checked into a room with stained and frayed carpet as if people wore their dirty ski boots everywhere. Big spill stains on the carpet, too. Water stains on the ceiling. When asked to changes rooms or upgrade they offered only a similar room in a lower level. We tried to distract ourselves with a dip in the pool only to find it DIRTY crowded and small. It doesn't look like they up keep grounds at all during the course of the day. Due to travel time we decided to stay but the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable I tossed and turned all night. Even found toddler scribble in the nightstand drawer. At the crack of dawn I phoned Expedia to help remedy the situation. They moved us to an upgraded room only to find one of the toilet seats was stained or burned from a cigarette. They changed the toilet seat and we moved in an eternity later. But wait! When I was about to put my stuff on the closet shelf there was A DIRTY PANTY rolled up in the corner. REALLY? By this time it was 3 and a half hours later with cranky hungry kids and we had to get out ASAP. The housekeeping supervisor and room inspector were both shown the disaster. That means they have a double or triple check system that is failing. On the way out the was a cigarette wrapper on the floor. Never again! Ever. Ever. Ever.

Convenient to shopsPosted Feb 20, 2015
Easy check in. Staff helpful. A bit hard to find parking during peak season:Long weekend. Overall nice stay with executive room with 2 bathroom. Food wasn't worth 32.99. I would give buffet food a 7.5/10. Didn't even have chopstick for Chinese food. View was nice as it was sitting at 18th floor.

Pros: The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean!
Cons: Staffing. Not enthusiastic......or helpful when asked questions or recommendations!
Location: There is very little snow right now.......so not good for skiing. Tahoe needs snow......
I didn't like that they don't make it clear about additional charges of $22.95 per day for internet, and Wi Fi ! We didn't use it or need it. It's just another way to charge you for their amenities. The staff was not that friendly or have much to say when we asked if they could recommend a place to eat other than their restaurant. Not very helpful or enthusiastic.

The hotel was room was awesome!Posted Feb 16, 2015
I loved the spacious room with two queen beds and large windows. What a surprise with two bathrooms. I had to call to make sure that I was not in an upgraded room. The bed was also firm and we slept comfortably and quiet. The indoor pool in the winter was warm and we had a great swim as well.

Just a tad nicer than Harvey'sPosted Feb 10, 2015
I know they are owned by the same company, but the rooms are just a little bigger, a little cheaper, and a little nicer.

Fabulous Winter Stay!Posted Feb 9, 2015
We came on a blustery weekend in February with our 9 year old daughter. We had a blast in your arcade, restaurants, pool, and luxury room with nice big windows. Right next to Heavenly Village Gondola, restaurants, shops, and ice skating!
