nice room 2 bathrooms

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: the room was clean and the indoor pool was nice. it also had a nice game area for kids
Cons: the casino felt somewhat empty and there weren't many vegetarian options on the menu in the American River Cafe, it also seemed overpriced.
Location: perfect location, close to everything or everything you need is in the hotel
Room was a nice size, big windows with nice views, and the room had two bathrooms which was nice

excellent of the price!!!

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: i like the fact that the room has 2 bathrooms
Location: it was a walking distance to the gondola ride , shops and restaurants.
My stay was very short but i like the location since it's next door to the main attraction which is the gondola . Also, just a few miles away form the Lake , approximately less than 5 minutes away. I just regret that i didn't plan on staying longer, i should have planned my stay to be at least 3-4 days, i would have enjoyed the other activities that's available.

Resort Fee is not optional

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The room we got was wonderful... view of Lake Tahoe, mirror to see the lake from our bed, his and hers bathrooms... pretty cool for a one-night stay.
Cons: Make the resort fee be a part of the room rate. It is not optional.
Location: The Chart House Restaurant has a beautiful view of the lake. Go late in the evening.... but before sunset.
The Expedia site left me with the impression that the Resort Fee covered services I did not need and I could opt-out of paying. When I got the confirmation email, it stated the Resort Fee would be collected by the hotel when I arrived. If it is a per day fee, it should be added as a part of the room rate - by the hotel and by Expedia - not hidden on the third page of the confirmation email. It led to an uncomfortable encounter during the check in process. The desk clerk was wonderful. He explained that a number of guest using Expedia had a similar experience. He was able to help us with the fee.

Elegant hotel with extra charges on arrival.

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: I liked having two bathrooms with a shower and tub in different ones.
Cons: Charge us the bottom line and not nickel and dime us when we get there. $10.95 a day for internet service and over 22$ a day for use of resort.
We do not gamble so the casino charge was extra for us. The room was very nice. The bed was not as comfortable as the Days Inn that we had stayed at the night before. No coffee in the room……suggestion….Starbucks instant is very good. We enjoyed the activities around the hotel…live music, lively atmosphere.

Near 5 star at very affordable cost.

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: 2 bathrooms for just one room was very nice plus. Location is near just about all of places you would like to go too in Tahoe.
Cons: If USA would have won soccer game :)
Location: Name it they have it near by.
Ask and they will get you whatever you need. I'm not much of a writer but I suggest this to anyone looking for a Casino Hotel that will give you options of doing so many different things.
