Room review, the rooms are outdated and not all of the appliances worked properly. The Air flow did not work on the proper setting. The mattress was extremely old and lumpy and the fridge did not work at all. I’m not sure what’s happening in Lake Tahoe but the casinos heating system was set on boiling. Even members of the staff mentioned to me that it’s way too hot to work in there. You can feel the heat smack you right in the face from the moment you walk to the casino floor. We enjoy gambling and being in a comfortable area and this place was NOT. I would recommend the hotel across, this is not a good place to stay

They put me in a smoking room when i did not order it and didnt do anything when i checked in. I called front desk and they put me in a better room. Elevators are in poor working order. My carpets had white stains on them. Loud in the hallways . Wont be back.

In front desk hosts are took the tip for giving me a good high rise room, but they gave me 6th floor, which I find out early in the morning, when everything was done ))

This hotel is an absolute mess. We did stay in the older side of the hotel, but it still is dark, dingy, smelly from cigarettes, casino is best and filled with smoke… the room is tiny, lumpy bead, phone to front desk was dead, on the positive side, although the bathroom was totally dated is was very clean. I would not return. There are too many alternatives in Tahoe. It is somewhat convenient but so are tons of others. The place really should be torn down. At least the original building.

Way too expensive! Property was run down. Not even a refrigerator in the room. The only good thing was the huge arcades they had that I didn’t use. Otherwise, you had to go through the tunnel to harrahs casino which owns Harvey’s. I will not stay there again.

It’s been a while since I’ve stayed at a casino resort and many things have changed for the worse. Resort fees on things you do not use. Pay for parking, ridiculous. No daily room service for stays less than 3 days. My next stay will be with a rental property like Air B&B etc.

Hallways were messy, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the pillows on the bed were old and some of the stuffing was coming out, the next suite had a birthday party and was very noisy during our stay, kids running up and down the hallway being noisy and rude, the room never really warmed up even though the heat was on, wallpaper and paint was pealing in the bathroom

Great location. Lots of options for eating at and around resort. No houskeeping unless you ask. Resort fee higher than what they said at check-in. Had to wait a day after i asked to get our room made up and they didnt vacuum -thats why i asked for them to come clean the room. The hallways were dirty and not vacuumed either. Parking was convenient but expensive.

Reasonable prices compared to any other hotel or casino hotel at the time. Only thing I didn't like was the an early check-in fee at noon?! Booked the room through Expedia and claimed check in was at 11am.

Nothing works! 1st room key card didn’t work. Went back down to the lobby and they gave us a new room……key card didn’t work! Thankfully the 3rd room the key worked. The room next to us has no lock(card room opener thingy) so the door is wide open and it’s freaking out my kid. Fridge in room not working which sucks because we have (had) leftover beef Wellington from Hell’s Kitchen. Went to get ice and water from the vending room but neither are working.

Harvey's in 2024 is kind of sad and run down. Maybe other rooms are better but mine was very small, cramped and old. It smelled like it had been a smoking room. Also the trashy neighbors yelled and fought all night, walls were so thin, I heard way more than I wanted to. I should have paid more and stayed somewhere else. The gal at check in was not very friendly and gave me the farthest possible room from the elevator. I could have complained but sometimes you get what pay for and it was adequate enough.

The front desk manager and one of the clerk were very rude. Women were very polite. I waited in line to checkin. I did not like the room and made arrangements over the phone to switch my room. The rude front desk clerk and the manager were both super rude and asked me to get in line again to get the new keys. They should have some process to handle existing customers who are not there to check in.

Our room wasn’t the cleanest there was makeup on the bathroom floors and walls and doesn’t seem it was vacuumed very well as I found finger nail clippings and beads from I assume a dress by the bed.

This is the dirtiest, smokiest hotel I've ever seen. Our room was smelly and the carpet was filthy. We booked for three nights and left after one, sleeping with the window as wide open as possible, departing with smoke-related headaches and scratchy/sore eyes. Awful.

The room and staff were great but the casino/food options are dated though. Resort fee was about $20 per night and seemed to include just basic Wi-Fi. The room is only cleaned upon checkout also which was disappointing.
