My daughter and I stayed at the Horizon from November 16 to November 20 and were very satisfied. Everyone in the Casino were very nice and helpful since your games are played a little different then ours. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant we tried was very nice. All and all we were very satisfied with this hotel and casino.

“NIce Place To Stay”

The Horizon is a perfectly adquate hotel at a reasonable price. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and clean. The walk from the back parking lot to the lobby is a bit long but not tedious by any means.

We've stayed at other hotels in the area, and most cost quite a bit more. Horizon is a great hotel in a great location.

“overnight stay at Horizon”

We went to the Horizon on Sunday 9/20, to attend a benefit concert. Our room was large, comfortable. And very clean. I would love to go back again. The price was certainly right, also. Other people in our group that stayed at other hotels, did not have the positive experience that we did. It is good to know, that despite the slowdown of economy, Horizon still takes pride in keeping the quality of their hotel high and the prices low.

Good location, beautiful view. But, there is one negative point: absence of coffee maker and refrigerator in the room.

“Affordable casino in a good location”

While this may not be the top casino resort, the price and location make it a great choice to stay at Tahoe. It has a great outdoor jacuzzi and a large pool, casino, decent buffet and an arcades room. There's a shuttle to the gondola but you can also walk there in about 10 minutes. I wouldn't call it a "walk to the lift" location (we came in January to ski) but it's close enough. For the money it was a great option.
