Nice and cheaper than other casino in Lake Tahoe.

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Pool, spa, exercise room, spacious room and good price.
Cons: Staff in front desk.
Location: Regular Lake Tahoe activities.
The price of this hotel is cheaper than other hotels in Lake Tahoe. The stay was mid-week and this may have a factor in the pricing? There was nobody at the registration desk when I arrived. I need to ask for someone to come out and serve me. Other than that, the stay is great. I got assigned to a corner room which gave more space. The room is spacious. The pool, spa and exercise rooms are spacious also and good.

Strong smoke smell in casino

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: It was close to were I was going.
A very strong smell of cigarette smoke inside the casino. The room was ok in size but looked like it needed to be updated the rug was worn and dirty looking, the shower/tub water Fossett was broken who checks that before you getting ready to wash up? Was surprise to find no coffee marker in the room I have paid less for a hotel room that was better equipped.

Never again....

Posted Aug 22, 2014
The room was very old and run down. Looked like they have never touched the decor since it was Ceaser's Palace. The shower was very dirty with leftover human hair everywhere. The casino is so smoky my sinuses burned.

Best prices for a casino hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Convenience to fun
Cons: Needs a refurbish
Location: In the middle of 3 casinos, near beach at Tahoe, just a lot of options.
Stayed 2 nights in an older, but well-kept room. Convenience of being right in casino with many restaurants and entertainments. You pay a resort fee of $10, but you get internet and free parking.

Rooms pricey for what you get, but kind Staff!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location, location! Pool was fun!
Cons: The rooms need updating and a deep cleaning.
I understand that you're paying for location, but the room furnishings were out of date. My kids thought the "Old School" TV was neat (it was huge & clunky), but did the job. The bathtub wall grout had some mold and the areas where the floor meets the wall by the toilet had obviously not gotten cleaned in a while. On the flip side, the staff was pleasant and went out of their way to leave a bottle of champagne in our room to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary. They also accommodated a late check-out so we could let our kids swim before the long ride home. All in all I expected a little nicer for the price, but hey...we're in Tahoe!

Good location

Very old and outdated rooms. I stayed there years ago when I believe it was Caesars and still stuff from then. 20 years ago. Will not stay there again. For that room quality price should be 65 per night

In need of serious remodel.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Nothing besides location, location, location
Cons: remodel, staff training, bathroom reconfiguration to allow for privacy.
I was very disappointed in the very outdated and dirty condition of this facility. Additionally, the walls are paper thin as we had a noisy neighbor who's lively conversations did not allow for us to have a relaxing time. The staff was also mediocre. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone within to have a decent experience. The showers are exposed to the room so there is no privacy door that you can shut.

weekend in Tahoe

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Good starting point for what we had planned for the weekend.
Cons: The restaurant wasn't that special.
Location: We went to the gondola, the art fair, and then drove around the lake.
The brew fest was fun. Chris Isaak was fantastic. the food in the hotel was average. One guy at check in counter/baggage was not helpful at all.
