Last Ski Trip of Spring '14

Pros: Great location, close to ski resorts.
Location: Great location, close to ski resorts.
Montbleu had a great special so the price was low and the quality high. Nice to ski during the morning, swim in the great lagoon looking pool in the afternoon. The Friday seafood buffet was excellent, very tasty and well done. I have stayed there a few years and it seems like the quality improves every year.

Pros: the waiting staff, bartenders and cocktailers are courteous, modest and pleasant.
of the few casinos in south lake Tahoe, I prefer the monte blue over bill harrahs places. 9.99 steak deal gets a 16 oz ny steak, the cinnamon whisky deal is flavorfull, more space from the ceiling, huge circular bath tub with more space than for two, and the night club. cvs for water and great booze deals next door.

Close to Everything. Price was FANTASTIC !

Pros: Everything was super great except the bathroom that had no fan and no door.
Cons: putting in fans and bathroom doors.
Location: Tahoe and Stateline are super great, I skied there at Heavenly and the gondola is very near by.
I rented skis there to ski at Heavenly. Very good prices all along, and bkfast special and dinner special were fine with low prices, when one got a casino card. We don't gamble but enjoyed everything about this place.

Once you get out of the elevator to your room it's apparent that they have not done a single renovation or upgrade since it was Cesars Palace. Gross carpet, peeling wallpaper, mismatched faucet handles, tiny television, and crappy beds. My son chose to sleep on the floor instead of the bed, his back hurt so bad. Would NOT come back here even if it was free.

Overall a decent stay- rooms need redesign

Cons: bathroom is dated; shower flooring needs replacing.
At one point, while hanging out in my room, I realized that the entire room had the same decor that was bought when the hotel was originally Caesar's. This is fine- the room was okay- but it's kind of funny thinking that this hotel was re-branded to MontBleu a few years ago, but once you go up in the guest elevators, everything is still Caesar's. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. The shower wasn't great looking and would benefit from a face lift. The casino took all my money, but that's my fault. haha Location is good- parking is plentiful and it's just a short walk to the other casinos or to the Heavenly Marriott village.

I got the Jacuzzi room with a view and the view was amazing, room was nice, beds were comfortable. The only negative is that the Jacuzzi is in the room and not in the bathroom, that would be fine if it was a romantic weekend away but I was with my kids and what was supposed to be a long relaxing bath turned into play time in the mini pool. Sigh

Very poor service unless your a local. Bar service and wait service was the worst I have ever seen in a casino.
