hotel was close to restaurants, casinos, ski lift

Pros: location and staff and bed. And it was a large room
Cons: The TV and the shower definitely
TV was an old box type and the shower leaked water onto bathroom floor and no refrigerator. But the bed was comfortable. Also there were no electric sockets for use of computer or a fan

Outside looked nice, inside...not so much

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Cons: The cleaning staff was nice and polite, and did a good job with what they had to work with.
Location: The positive to the hotel was the location. Close to everything we wanted to do.
The outside of the hotel looked clean and cozy, somewhat lodge like. But inside there was stains on the carpet, mold in the shower and paint on the ancient windows. The beds were hard and made LOTS of noise. The pillows were just as bad.

Okay if you are not staying for more than a night

Pros: The room was clean and right on the main street so if you were walking and planning on staying out late it will be okay.
Cons: Parking, signage on drive way, and limiting the hours to who long people can sit outside and carry on loud conversations.
Location: The location was the reason we chose this motel. It was close to the wedding we were going to. The Heavenly shopping area, gondolas, etc was close.
The check in staff was friendly enough. Did not really have knowledge of the area. A maintenance employee overheard the conversation and was able to tell me how to get to the wedding we were going to at one of the local golf courses. The room was clean. Parking is difficult. You can barely see the first drive way which is where registration is at, o if you miss it and pull into the driveway you can see, you cannot get to the other side of the motel. You have to wait for the traffic to slow down so you can possibly get out into the turn lane, or go down a few blocks where you can make a left and turn around. During the busy time (check in time) we could not get out. There was a fire ring outside our room which was very nice, but the people sitting around the ring sat out there until early hours in the morning talking which made sleeping impossible. You can hear every toilet flushing and every shower running. Next time I will spend a little more money and go down the street to a Holiday Inn Express.

Transition on the downside

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Location: Convienent to stateline
We stayed there many times up until a year or so ago. Was there last week for an adult concert, not much left for kids to do. Pool and both jacuzzi's gone, still have old tube TV's, kids couldn't connect PS3. I guess they haven't had breakfast for quite awhile now. Only ice machine on other side of hotel. No private beach passes but the website says they are available. Tried to charge a 12.00 resort fee, not sure what for. Beds were decent and room was clean. Front desk people and coffee was very nice. If we'd never stayed there before I guess I wouldn't have higher expectations from a smaller hotel that was once pretty nice. Management needs to stop talking about what they are going to do and just do it.

Very dirty!

Posted Jul 31, 2014
The pics online are deceiving. This was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed in. Not worth the 100$ a night. The floors were sticky and gross the bed had nasty stains on it and did not smell fresh at all. Even the towels smelled musty. The toilet clogged on us and we had to wait a long time for a plunger so that we could fix it ourselves and we weren't stocked with toilet paper. It was a disgusting experience.

NICE POOL!!! NOT!!!

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Update your photos on the website to accurately reflect what you offer at the hotel.
They said the pool had been bricked over four years ago. Then WHY is that picture on your website?! After a long drive and checking into the hotel, the clerk forgot to mention that they had recently shut off the water main. Not exactly the most comfortable way to start a vacation. Choose ANY hotel one block west of here and you won't be disappointed.
