Horrible customer service

Posted Jul 27, 2015
The front desk employees were arrogant and rude. Tried to turn us away. Got to the hotel at 1am and they couldn't find our reservation so we're going to turn us away. Pretty upsetting experience. Tried to tell the manager that his employee Joel was super rude to us, but the manager said Joel said "we" were rude. Lol the customer is always right is lost on this hotel.

Central hotel..that's about it

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: I liked how central it was to all the near by activities.
Cons: Cleanliness, and a couple child friendly t.v. channels.
Location: There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance as well as trails, and lake access.
The outside of the hotel is very quaint, but once inside the carpet was filthy and full of stains. The bathroom floors were paint stained and also did not look clean, we did not take off our shoes while staying in our room.

Very nice hotel close to the lake and Casinos.

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Location and Price
Cons: wifi strength, not bad but could be stronger.
Location: Perfect location. Right across the street from a big Shopping center with a Raleys with a Petes Coffee, shops and food. 5 min walk to Casinos.
Stayed there to attend celebrity golf tournament. With in minutes ( walking ) to harrah's and harveys. Hotel Staff was very nice. Rooms where clean, nice bed and quite.

PERFECT!

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Love the bed and pillows!!! Memory foam.
Cons: Better lighting in the closet. I had to use my cell phone to see.
Location: See above
I always stay at this hotel, when I am in the area. The location is perfect....once you park, you don't need to start the engine again. Everything is within an easy walking distance--shopping, dining, entertainment, beach, etc.

Cheap motel quality at expensive hotel price

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Nothing. Location is good, but not worth the price. I've stayed at way better hotels for cheaper in the same area.
Cons: Redo/update rooms, new TVs, cable programming consistent with this day and age, faster internet. Lower rates until improved quality.
Location: The location is good, right near Heavenly Village
Very disappointing, will never stay here again. Basically a cheap motel room priced at very high Lake Tahoe prices. Tiny room, could barely move around, tiny bathroom. The TV was an old tube TV (didn't even know these still existed) that was blurry and had terrible channels. Hotel had basically no amenities. Internet was slow and inconsistent. Would have been acceptable at $50 per night, but after paying $170+ per night, it was a complete ripoff. Basically the hotel is going off location only, and has put no effort into the rooms. I'd be ashamed if I owned this hotel and charged guests what they're charging for rooms, I don't care where the hotel is. This is a 1 star motel charging the same rate as a 3-4 star hotel.

Don't be fooled! Book elsewhere!

Pros: The covered driveway & the way it looked in the pictures. That's about it.
Cons: The power supply, the plumbing & the configuration of the bathroom door. The bathroom door should swing the other way so you can stand at the sink.
Location: The location is great. Close to everything, great shopping & places to eat.
1. When I arrived at my room there was leftover food in the fridge from the last person. 2. The shower was unacceptable with only single weak stream of water flowing out. Showering was a huge hassle because of the lack of water pressure. 3. The tiny bathroom configuration was terrible. When you opened the door, you had to close it completely behind you to stand in front of the sink which meant you were cut off from the air conditioning. I had to get ready at the desk in the room in order to benefit from the A/C. 4. While blow drying my hair at the desk area, the power went out in the entire hotel & the room went pitch black. I had to use my cell phone flashlight & candles which I always travel with. It didn't come on for about 20 minutes & I had somewhere to be. Very irritating. 5.When I called the front desk about the power being out the attendant stated this happens often due to the building being old. There was no apology offered and he seemed like he couldn't have cared less.
